Ingrid didn't answer it right away.
Carter didn't rush her.
A few minutes later, Ingrid's voice sounded again.
"I hated him at first, but I'm still young. I don't want to trap myself in this fruitless relationship. I want to move forward, and I don't want to be entangled with Orville again."
"So, Uncle Wellington, if you want to continue working with me on this movie, then I'm sorry. I hope you can choose between Orville and me. As for liquidated damages and investors, I will take care of it."
Carter got her determination, so naturally, he wouldn't persuade her anymore.
"Ingrid, you call me Uncle Wellington. I naturally have no reason to make you compromise. Don't worry. I will make it clear to Mr. Quentin!"
Ingrid closed her eyes, feeling relieved. "Thank you, Uncle Wellington."
"Hey, don't be a stranger. But I think you still need to talk to your parents about your divorce."
