Flora couldn't believe that her mom could come up with such brilliant idea

The thought of seeing Summer suffer in their hands brought back her lost joy

Lilian was more than furious when being told about what transpired last night

Summer told her everything but skipped the part where she had sex with Lucian

Her friend would freak out on hearing it and she wouldn't want to share the story about her Innocence being taken by a total stranger and that stranger being Lucian Stuart.

"That woman is a devil! How could she do that to her own niece?!! What have you ever done to her, her sister treated her well when alive so why is she treating you this way?! How could she use you as a bargaining chip!!! 

Lilian boomed 

Summer smiled bitterly, she didn't have the strength to complain again and so she just kept mute 

Lilian was already booming this way, what then happens when she learns about Lucian?

She might even go to find him and then put herself in trouble

After all, the Stuarts owns Springhill Suites.

"Lily?

Summer called 

"Yes dear?

"I'm sorry for loosing that job"

She pouted as she apologized

Lilian flicked her forehead

"You crazy girl, what are you sorry for, The man tried to molest you just like how that godforsaken Patrick tried to, it isn't your fault"

"Infact, I want you to kick more of their asses, if they try to do anything stupid, I'm always here to defend you"

Lilian smiled 

Summer felt guilty

She had already been defiled by a man and she couldn't kick his ass and now she's hiding it from Lilian.

"I'll get you another job".

Lilian sighed and Summer widened her eyes in surprise

"Really momma?

She asked

"Yup, just don't mess this one up, though I bet you would but at least it's rare to get fired in this one"

Lilian said, got Summer wondering what kind of job it was

"I won't"

Summer promised, Lilian scoffed

"How's Jacob? It's been a while I visited him, hope he isn't mad at me for not visiting"

Lilian asked, more of a statement

Summer shrugged her shoulders

"You know that guy can hide his emotions like crazy, you have to find out for yourself if he is angry or not"

Lilian nodded

"He's the big brother after all"

Summer nodded then said

"Reason why he has been getting worked up lately, he doesn't take it well seeing me, his kid sis take care of the bills while he does nothing, he tries to hide it but I know he's pained inside seeing me suffer for him"

Lilian smiled and patted Summer's shoulder

Summer was left in the house, cleaning up the kitchen while Lilian had gone to work with her constant promise of getting another job for her

She walked to the parlor when she heard her phone ring

Knowing who it was, cause she set a different ringtone for Lilian, Summer picked it up

"Hey Lily"

"Ohhh Summer, you got good luck following you around!

Lilian's excited voice came

Summer made a funny expression on her face 

"Lily, the last time I checked, I've been fired for the fifth time in just two months"

Lilian chuckled

"Yeah I know, but this one is good luck, now listen..... the past few weeks, Diva Mia had been getting her hairdo in our saloon and we have been talking to the extent of becoming casual friends and....."

"Wait wait hold on Lily....." Summer bridged and laughed ".....you mean Diva Mia, like Diva Mia? You and 'she' talked? casual friends? 

Summer rolled her eyes " Have you been daydreaming lately?

She couldn't believe that Lilian was saying the truth

Diva Mia, the popular known actress who had received many grammy awards as the best actress and also popularly known as Diva, conversed with Lilian?

"Summer believe it or not but you're gonna see for yourself soon, as I was saying, we talked and I told her about you, though she do know I have a stubborn kind of bestie, I told her about how you are in need of a job and she offered one...I just knew you were the perfect person for it cause you got her stature and kind of shape"

Summer raised her brows

"So what's the job there? is she gonna give up her position for me to step in or whah?

"Don't run your mouth for now, listen.....she and her manager are in need of a stunt double for a new movie and I grabbed the opportunity immediately, I told her that you were once a student in Kong Fit Club and showed her your picture, she said you were the perfect one for the stunt double and if you would like the offer, you could come to the movie set tomorrow and I'll text you the address"

As Lilian was explaining, Summer was beyond shocked 

She couldn't believe this was real, herself becoming a stunt double for the most popular actress in Los Angeles and some part of the world?

Gosh!!! Someone pinch her now!

"Thank you so much Lily!!! Gosh what would I do without you?!! text me the address okay, I'll take the job at once!

Lilian chuckled hard, she knew summer would be thrilled hearing the news, who wouldn't?

SKYLAR ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY>>

"Hello Diva? Yes I'm here but I don't know where to locate you"

Summer in her gean pants and crop top with a face cap, sneakers and a backpack entered the building and stood at a place, confused on where to go

There were many people there, different equipments including Video cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, camera bags, reflectors, lightnings and many more

It was as if they were preparing to go for a movie shoot 

"Oh, I'll send my assistant to come get you, just stay where you are okay?

"Okay"

Summer replied and stayed put while looking around, taking in the place

If someone had told her that she would get to step feet in Skylar, she would wouldn't have believed it but now she's in Skylar.....the most biggest entertainment industry in LA which had and had groomed many infamous actors and actresses.

"Miss Hales?

A voice brought her out of her thoughts

Summer saw a young lady in front of her 

"Yes please" She answered

"Alright, follow me please"

They walked to a place where few people gathered and there she saw Diva Mia

Mia smiled on seeing her assistant come over with a lady who she believed was Summer

"Good day everyone, Diva"

Summer acknowledged

"You must be Summer, nice meeting you'"

The people there, including Diva Mia, were surprised to see Summer not being too giddy and nervous 

Any other average person who finds themselves in the midst of infamous people would be nervous but this lady was just free and outspoken

"Okay, Marvel, this is Miss Hales, she's gonna be my stunt double in the movie, miss Hales, meet Director Marvel"

Mia introduced

Marvel stretched out his hands for a shake which Summer politely accepted

"Nice meeting you Director Marvel, I'm a fan"

Summer revealed 

"My pleasure miss Hales"

Marvel smiled 

Summer also exchanged handshakes and greetings with other persons there

"Alright Miss Hales, Timo here would give you a clear run down of the script in which you need to play and then you can decide on it before we'd involve you in the movie, sounds good?

Marvel asked Summer

"Yup, sounds good to me, actually it's all good to me"

Summer replied

Still in Skylar, in a makeup room...

"What is this on my face? I look like a clown, I don't like it, redo it"

A lady said in dissatisfaction

She was currently sitting on a chair in front of a huge mirror and makeup kits of different shades and labels were placed side by side on the mirror table

"But you asked for this particular colour Miss"

One of the makeup artist voiced in frustration

Putting on a perfect makeover wasn't an easy thing and cannot be done in just a short period of time, it needs to concentration and focus

Now asking them to redo the entire make up was pure wickedness and inconsideration!

The lady flared up in anger

"Are you trying to tell me what to do and how to look like in my shoot! I can't film like this, I need to look Radiant and stunning, it's your job to make the actresses satisfied so you have to redo this makeover"

"But...."

The makeup artist tried to persist but was cut short

"Just redo it and don't complain, you don't want to spoil her mood and spoil the movie scene she's about to shoot, do you?

The lady's manager named Claire asked and the artist shook her head 

"Hennessy you need to calm down".

Claire adviced the lady

Hennessy rolled her eyes

She could afford to look less enticing than what she envisioned

She was about to go for a pre-movie photo shoot in which they would wear their respective costumes according to the character they were to play

She, being the second female lead needs to be in her best appearance and nothing less 

Besides, Kai would be coming for the shoot as he is the first male lead in the movie.

An hour later, they all got ready for the shoot

Because the movie had not yet started, Summer wasn't part of the shoot, after all she was just gonna be a double and not a pronounced character

But that didn't mean she had nothing to do with the shoot, she has to stay and see some of the poses Mia makes for the shoot, it would be a reference start 

The shoot was going smoothly, everybody were professional in what what they do including Hennessy, Mia and few other main characters untill there came a commotion outside 

Girls screamed and cheered as they circled a tall handsome man who just walked into the industry but were shooed away by the securities from entering the shooting site

Ladies in the room held their breathe too when the man walked in with smiles

"Hey everybody, I ain't late, am I?

He winked 

'Oh my God, at this rate, I donate my single life to him'

'Gosh such a handsome adonis ahhhh!

'Look at those eyes of his, he even winked knowing he had those ocean eyes, who does he want to kîll?

'I'm a die-hard fan and will forever be, IDWK!!

Whispers and Murmurs erupted softly as girls conversed amongst each other

The man who just came in was Kai, the ladies Idol, an actor whose net worth amounts to over a hundred million dollars, known nationwide just like the legendary korean actor, Lee Min Ho,

Kai's fan base likewise, his Crush base was so high that any single bad topic about him would cause an uproar, as his fans will bring war to the net against such news bearer. His fans had even created a slogan, I Die With Kai (IDWK)

Hennessey's eyes lit up on seeing Kai finally come 

She was currently wearing a leopard skin cotton ragged dress, just like those costumes you'd see in 'game of thrones'

Mia rolled her eyes

"Of course you're late Kai, the traffic chained you or what?

Kai raised his hands in surrender

"Ahh boss Lady, I didn't see you, forgive this humble servant your Majesty"

He said and bowed down dramatically, resulting in everyone laughing at the act

"Alright Kai, please go to room A, the makeup crew is waiting ...."

Marvel facepalmed, Kai and his playfulness never cease to get over him

"Alright Pretty Director!

Kai said and strode out while Marve almost puked blood

Pretty?!!!!

"Kai is so funny don't you think Marvel?

Hennessy asked with a smile

"Yeah he is, everyone thinks so"

Marvel replied, then turned to Mia

"Where's your double?

Mia turned to look around

"Um...oh yes, she wanted to use the restroom, she'll be back"

Hennessy raised a brow

"Ohhh Mia you're so talented, you even get to have a double....I envy you"

Marvel smiled while nodding but Mia caught the underlying meaning of her words ... though it sounded more like a harmless and good complement but there was a hint of sarcasm in it

On the other hand, why Hennessy implied was that Mia wasn't so talented after all that was why she needs a double.

"Of course I'm talented and that was why I got to be the female lead.... first female lead actually"

Mia replied back in a harmless and polite tone while Hennessey's smile faded

She also applied for the first female lead but couldn't get chosen at the audition, she wouldn't even have gotten the second female lead if it wasn't for one of the judges she slept with

While Mia had to do nothing!!!

Summer got pressed earlier and had to use the restroom, not after telling Mia her whereabouts incase they needed her and looked for her

After doing her thing and getting refreshed, she was about stepping out when her phone rang immediately

Looking at the caller ID, her brows furrowed

 ' Doctor James?

Why could he be calling ?

"Good evening Doc"

Summer's eyes widened for a minute and her palms felt sweaty

"Doc...yes.....I thought we've talked about this before now and it hasn't been up to a month we spoke, so why? Why? Please continue my brother's treatment

"Why?!!! No tell me why?! Please I know, I know I have to but please, didn't you say this was the last treatment he would be receiving to get better and back to himself? So please don't stop the..... what? Y-y-es...my parents died and ...yes you're right but I can still pay the bills, please!

Summer begged over the phone but the Doctor didn't listen and instead disconnected the call

Summer held her head and repressed a scream threatening to fall out from her mouth and he ended up ruffling her hair

She couldn't find the energy to stand and so she slide down the door she rested on

"No No, they can't stop my brother's treatment..... Never!!

Summer immediately stood up and dashed out of the restroom and with the help of someone, she left through the back door and went on her to the hospital immediately.
