Blake's POV

Immediately the doctor left, Tiffany and I entered into the room Clara was taken to. I'm so scared of losing her and she looks so white and fragile on the bed. I won't let anything bad happen to her anymore. Tiffany left to take care of some things at their apartment and also to pack whatever Clara would need whenever she wakes up . I'm planning to ask Clara to be my girlfriend even though I don't do dating, I'm now ready. It would be easy for me to convince her in staying with me but for now, she should just get well. I looked at her face all night long till I feel asleep.

I felt someone's hand on my head and I struggled to open my eyes. Clara was the one running her hands through my hair. God! she is awake.

'' Clara, you got me scared. Tiffany and I couldn't do anything but pray for you to get well. I don't want to lose you. ''I pulled her into my arms and stroke her hair.

'' What really happened and where is Tiffany?'' she asked confused.

'' You were poisoned and we brought you here. Tiffany had things to do though she was bent on staying with you. But I made her leave and she was going to bring in whatever you need. Ohhh here she comes '' Tiffany came in at that moment with a bag with her.

'' Cla, you got me worried. I thought I was going to lose you. Don't ever do that to me again'' she started sobbing. Girls!!!!

''Babe, you have the contact of that police man right ''I asked her curiously

''Detective Angelo? Yea,I have his contact. Check my phone '' She said innocently.

I dialed the detective's number and told him what happened. He sounded cool and said he was coming to meet us in the hospital. Tiffany was showering Clara with love and care while I was watching Clara like a fragile piece of glass.

''Hi, I'm detective Angelo. Clara, I heard what happened. I'm so sorry '' he said affectionately and I hate it. The look he is giving her looks like that of a crush.

''She is good detective. She was got poisoned and she is now fine but you need to start questioning her about what happened right? '' I said defensively and Clara gave me a shut- the -hell- up look.

'' Ohhh boyfriend? '' he asked Clara

'' Yes''

''No'' we both replied together and Tiffany kept laughing like she was in a comedy show.

''Ok, OK. Clara did you eat anything abnormal yesterday or something your body didn't agree with. Like an allergy or something'' finally,the dude starts questioning her.

''I went to an event with Blake yesterday. I drank and ate what was served and I don't think I know any one there. So no enemies except Blake's bed warmers who kept glaring at me. But no really big enemy. Just bitches act. Then I got home and I ate ice cream. And my lunch was pretty normal. So I can't say anything or suspect anybody'' Clara explained to Angelo.

''Can I get the ice cream container. And did you notice any leak or hole before you took it '' the detective has a point.

'' I already took the trash out when I was cleaning the house today.'' Tiffany said calmly.

''I can't say if I noticed a hole. It was frozen and had no liquid'' Clara explained

''This is all for now. But please if you can get the container, I would love to check it out. And you also ate at the dinner party. So it's kinda difficult to know where exactly the poison came from. Clara, you need to be careful and stay safe. Good day and please call me Angelo'' why the fuck is he acting cute.

''Ohh ok, have a great day'' Clara said and thank Goodness he left.

The doctor came in earlier and gave Clara drugs to use. He also told us Clara could leave today and rest for a while. I know she wouldn't want to stay in my place and would want to go to work stubbornly. So I plan on keeping my cool and ask her patiently.

''Clara we are leaving now. I know you don't really like it here. So let's leave. ''I told her calmly.

'' Ok, kindly take me to my apartment please. I really want to leave this place. The room is nice but it still smells like hospital'' she chuckled

She wants to go to her apartment, well she has another think coming. Tiffany already parked her clothes in my car even though I got some for her when she came over. I made Jodi take her car to my place and now she has no option than to stay with me .

''I'm ready,let's leave. But Blake I'm feeling kind of sleepy so carry me '' I gladly followed her orders. Feeling sleepy is even better. When she sleeps off, I would take her to my place without any argument.

She slept off before I dropped her into the car.Tiffany dropped the remaining of Clara's property in the car. ''You are good man. Please take care of her and don't make her cry. I know you like her, so you have my permission to take her. Protect her,that's all I'm asking for. She has gone through so many things she hasn't shared with anyone except me and I see her sharing them with you soon. So please, treat her well. Good day Blake ''. she tapped my shoulders and left me speechless. What do I need to know about her,I hope she shares her past with me someday. But for now I just want us to be happy.

I entered my car and drove us to my apartment. She snuggle into my chest while I carried her up the stairs. I dropped her on the bed and covered her with a duvet.

I went to my study to work a bit and have some online meeting. I was receiving a call from Mandy when I heard someone shout my name.

Now imagine an angry girlfriend in a Korean movie shouting her boyfriend's name. That's how she sounds right now ''Blakkkkkkkeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,you are so dead''

Well,I think I'm a dead man walking.
