Catching Feelings

No! Do not take us to the hospital, I don't want the media to make a huge deal out of it" Linx quickly cut Desiree who ordered the driver to take them to the hospital.

"Yeah that's true" Desiree muttering to himself completely lost of words and filled with guilt as he saw Dana's and Linx's condition, they both were shaking terribly, Dana was so pale one would think she's never been out on the sun before.

Take me home" Desiree instructed.

"I'll...be dropping soon... Dana said whilst quivering, she was so scared and she desperately needed to cry, take a warm shower and gulp down large quantity of coffee so she wouldn't sleep off, the head ache she might get is far better than the night mares that hunt her whenever she remembered her past and was in a similar situation to what happened that night..the night her life changed, although she couldn't remember anything before that night she knew she had been happy and whole once untill that night happened.

"Take both of us to my house" Linx cut in, his words made everyone's eyes go round as they all stared at him curiously.

They all knew he treated Dana differently but now...?

Clearing his throat he quickly chipped in "so I can call the doctor over"

Everyone's lips curved into an "O" as they all shifted their gazes to Dana who once again broke the silence making it more awkward.

"It's fine senior Linx, I'll be alright. Just drop me as my.....she started coughing loudly before she could complete her statement.

Damn she just had to cough now, she hadn't been with Linx for very long but she knew she wouldn't be able to escape now.

"That's it! Drive us to my place and place a call to the doctor. Linx commanded authoritatively causing everyone to keep shut for the rest of the journey.

Everyone had dropped in their various destinations before going to drop off Dana and Linx at his home.

When Linx got home he immediately went into the kitchen and made soup for Dana, he was a terrible cook but why was he feeling so concerned about her? It just never happened before, for the first time he was ignoring his own health and putting someone first, when she had coughed in the van his heart literally stopped beating.

Was he catching feeling for her? No...he was just been a considerate boss right? But why haven't he ever felt this way for anyone else? The questions were so much he could feel his head hurt and his heart rumble in innocent confusion.

"What have you done to me Zheng Dana? He whispered as he watched her take the soup he made.

"I'm ok senior Linx" she said shifting uncomfortably in her wet clothes.

"Ok? You took only three spoons"

"I'm fine... Thank you.."

"I don't think so, open up" he gestured with a spoon on her lips.

Was he going to feed her? Dana thought surprised she couldn't even say no, even when the soup tested terrible it on its own was enough to make her sick.

After baring to take two spoons she could no longer take it.

"It tastes terrible" she said squeezing her face. When she looked up at Linx's face she almost felt bad for him but at the same time it was funny. He looked like he was going to cry but still managed to look so cute, with brown eyes glistening like a baby's, his cheeks had grown pink, he looked too cute that her cold cheeks felt a rise of warmth.

"Do you know what it cost me to make this? His face grew into a light squeeze with his voice sounding like he was about to cry it was all too funny so Dana laughed, she laughed so hard her ribs threatened to crack. The way he was staring at her like she had lost her mind incurred another round of laugher from her.

"Wha...t's funny? A perplexed Linx asked.

"You should see your face... you look like you want to cry" Dana replied admist chuckles.

"Please do not ever make soup for anyone, ever again" she said making Linx to throw a small sofa pillow at her.

"You ingrate! You're lucky to have tasted my superior cooking skills, there is none like me in the whole of China and Korea" Linx muttered to himself as he went up the stairs. He couldn't imagine that his cooking skills had just been mocked by her and he didn't get offended in contrast he was actually enjoying seeing her laugh so hard he had literally caught himself drooling at her doll like face, she was slowly breaking all his boundaries and he loved it.

What he did next shocked him more than it did her. Him Feng Lixin gave a girl his shirt!! He had no option when he saw her shivering in those wet clothes, he couldn't give her Minde's clothes it would literally sock her up so he handed her his shorts and black shirt after showing her the room she had to sleep in.

"I'll be leaving now...um... goodnight I've kept the drugs on the table, take it after you shower" Linx said speedily as he hurried out of the guest room.

"Thank you senior Linx, and good night" he heard her say from behind him as he left the room.

Taking a hot shower helped allot as Dana was gradually getting herself back. She sat on the bed with nothing to do and the fear of having to face her demons once again if she closed her eyes, she decided to try to stay up as long as possible. Going to disturb Linx's sleep in order to get his permission to make coffee that's if he even had one would be allot of trouble. So there she sat on the edge of the most comfortable bed she had even laid on, with baby pink sheets and duvay, if it was on a normal day it wouldn't take her 5 minutes to dose off but today's different, the events that happened in the last two hours took her to a place she so desperately wanted to shut from her memory.

Slowly she fell asleep and there she was...back to February 7th 2006 she was wearing a gray dress, white socks and her hair was beautifully packed with pins she had ran out from a car towards two lifeless bodies with faces she couldn't see but she could tell it was a man and woman, the heavy rain that was falling washed their blood all over the side of the road and she was soaked with it as she kept trying to shake them awake, but they lay still and coldddd, her moving hands on their bodies stopped mid way when she heard steps behind her, swiftly she took the necklace the dead woman wore around her neck and started running into the forest with tears running down her cheeks and occasionally turning back to look at the men who all had their faces covered except for the one who looked like their boss, his eyes looked so Scarry and empty she felt her stomach sink when he cupped her face into his hands after they eventually caught her due to the thunder that struck on a tree causing it's branches to fall on her leg.

"Please leave me alone! Please I beg you, put me down...put me down....please just let me go"

Dana kept screaming and pleading to her abductors as they carried her away, she was jolted back to reality when her hands hit against something strong with an unfamiliar smell enclosing her nostrils.

She could tell she was in someone's arms but she didn't care about that now, she so needed the hug that she just held on tighter crying to her heart's content whilst muttering her deepest fears subconsciously

"They don't want to leave me alone ....why can't they just let me be!? I'm tired....I'm so tired of it all..." She muttered choking on her sobs as tears flowed down her eyes helplessly. Whoever it was she was glad they didn't say a word.

When she finally fell asleep Minde quietly watched her sleep, he knew he was been creepy right now, coming into a girl who's practically a stranger to him, holding her in his arms as she cried herself to sleep and now watching her sleep no oo someone else might think otherwise but he just couldn't ignore her screams from his room. When he returned for work at 11pm Linx was already in bed so he had been shocked when he heard someone crying and screaming from the room next to his at the late hour of 2am although he hadn't slept yet due to work and plus he had insomnia so been up through out the night wasn't new. But the cries from the room her startled him, they didn't leave in a neighborhood where he would have assumed it was his neighbors, each house in the estate were well distanced to maintain the optimum privacy it's occupants required and secondly Linx never brought any girls home.

Taking with him a base ball bat he slowly opened the room which was dimly lit as he progressed further into the room and closer to the figure on the bed he flashed his phone light on her face only to reveal the last face he expected. "Linx's PA?!" What was she doing here? Was he dating her? All the thoughts running through his mind seized when she grabbed his waist, he had almost pushed her away cause quite frankly he hates been touched but then he realized she was still asleep although she was crying and screaming as though someone was after her.

"They don't want to let me be...why can't they just let me go?! I'm tired...I'm so tired..." He heard her mutter as her voice grew lower and her tears rushed down harder untill she slept off in his arms which he had now wrapped around her to prevent her from falling and make his aching waist feel more at ease.

Minde felt really bad for her, and even after convincing himself to stop staring at a face he had come to realize was really pretty he couldn't stop himself from thinking about her after he left the room to his.

"Dana, Dana,Dana you've made me more curious about you" Minde muttered to himself as he laid on his bed.
