Junwei will definitely like me

Yu Junwei slammed his hand against the boardroom table and tossed the file onto it. The Technical Team Leader and the Project Team Leader, who were seated around the table, took deep breaths as they knew it was time to get the scoldings.

"What is wrong with you, Alex? The performance characteristics graph will fail in the beginning. How could you neglect such a thing?" Yu Junwei raised his voice and stood up from the chair.

He bent down as his hands rested on the table. "Did you even check the simulation for this particular function? I do not want to hear any excuses," Yu Junwei immediately said as he saw Alex speaking.

"Junwei, it's just the initial phase idea. I have not fully implemented it. I know that the performance has deviated in the beginning, which we need to work upon," Alex defended himself from getting scolded.

"Your idea has failed. I think I need to enter the workshop to work with you all. You're not going home tonight. Cancel your plans and stay here for the entire night," Yu Junwei pronounced.

"Aish! Junwei, my girlfriend is…"

"I don't care! Breakup with her if you can't handle the work here or resign," Junwei pointed his finger at him.

Wang Zexi gulped and gestured to Alex to stay quiet.

Junwei turned to the door and walked out of the conference room.

"What's wrong with Jun?" Alex looked at Wang Zexi.

Tang Shibao chuckled and leaned back on the chair. "I told you not to go with this idea. You are lucky that he didn't kick you out," he muttered.

"I am his best friend. He will never kick me out," Alex affirmed and asked Wang Zexi to tell about Junwei's mood.

"The CEO's grandfather and mother are arriving today. That's why the boss is acting this way," Wang Zexi proclaimed. "I will see you later," He walked out of the conference room.

Yu Junwei reached the workshop and checked the welding shop first. The Chief Engineer, Wan Qian, bowed and greeted him. The metal was being cut. Wang Zexi stood beside Yu Junwei to check the final finishing of the electric cycle.

Yu Junwei instructed the chief engineer, and after checking everything, he asked Wang Zexi not to disturb him till noon. Yu Junwei pressed the elevator button and stepped inside. It closed and he reached the top floor of his company.

The phone in his pocket was ringing, but he ignored it. He reached near the glass door, which automatically opened up. He stepped inside when his eyes fell on a woman dressed in red.

Yu Junwei frowned upon seeing a woman in his office.

"Who are you?" The first thing he asked as he walked towards her.

"You don't know me?" Sophie asked in astonishment.

Yu Junwei snickered.

"You may be one of many of my fan girls!" He deduced. "Get up from my seat," Yu Junwei sternly said. "And who allowed you here? How did you get here?" Yu Junwei inquired.

"Wait! What did you say? I am not your fan girl!" She stated.

"I am the nation's superstar, Sophie Lin." She introduced herself.

"Nice to hear. "Now, get out, or else I'll call security," Yu Junwei said as he approached Sophie's swivel chair. She felt the grip of Yu Junwei on her wrist as she was pulled up.

'How could you forget this touch?' She thought while gazing straight into the eyes of Yu Junwei.

An hour ago: Inside the SUV

"Sophie, are you out of your mind? You need to talk to the CEO of Sunshine Technologies because he is your last hope. I mean, you lost ten commercial shoots and a drama because of yesterday's incident. I know you will get time to rest, but then it's about your reputation too. You cannot let your career get ruined because of Yi Zixun. If everything had been fine, then Chairman Zheng would not have been this tense. So, meet the CEO of Sunshine Technologies and convince him to sign the contract for the commercial shoot with us!" Ciao tried his best to make Sophie understand.

"Can't Chairman Zheng handle this? Why is he sending me there? He never did this before, so why today?" Sophie had understood by now that yesterday's incident had indeed brought many haters back into the picture again.

"He talked numerous times with his secretary, but the CEO does not agree. Since you are a popular actress, the CEO might not refuse if you talk to him. You need to convince him to let this incident die out. The CEO is a known face in the business world, so the haters will stop and everything you have lost will come back to you," Ciao suggested to her, who had now understood him completely.

"What's his name? I will talk to him," Sophie stated.

Ciao Hong smiled brightly and quickly opened the tab in his hand.

"His name is Yu Junwei, who became a billionaire at the age of 22." Ciao forwarded the tablet to Sophie Lin, who grabbed it. She saw his face and was shocked to see him.

"It's him," she murmured.

"What?" Ciao exclaimed. "Do you know him?"

"He is the CEO. I never knew about it!" Sophie was bewildered by what she read about him.

"How could you possibly know about him? You always refrained from business and related stuff. He mostly comes in the news, but you never see that," Ciao Hong commented. Sophie did not speak a word as an old memory hit her.

"Turn the car to Sunshine Technologies Administrative Office. I want to meet Yu Junwei, but before that I need to change my outfit," Sophie told him. Ciao was astonished to hear her. He was glad that finally Sophie agreed to this and asked the driver to drive to the showroom from where Sophie usually shopped for her.

Sophie changed into red dress with a slash neck, long sleeve having long cuts on the forearms and a slit near her left leg which reach just above her knee. A wide black band was on the dress around the waist which gave an elegant look to her. She put on a platinum bracelet om her right hand to complete her look.

"Junwei will definitely like me," Sophie mumbled as she checked herself in the mirror. She came out of the dressing room and paid for the dress. The lady thanked her and returned her the black card.

"Let's go. I will make sure Junwei sign me for the commercial," Sophie said with a wide smile. Ciao liked her confidence and gave her a thumbs-up.
