"Not a chance brat. I hope Miss Xu gives you a hard time."

Night.

Mo Zhexi went to pick up Xu Wenwen as per planned. He even prepared a bouquet of her favorite flower to her.

Xu Wenwen was waiting outside of her house. She leaned against the gate while waiting for Mo Zhexi to come.

Tonight, she wore something simple. A long jeans and simple t-shirt with a thick jacket. It's cold in the cinema and she will always bring a jacket along with her.

After standing for a while, she saw a silver car coming and stopped in front of her. Then, Mo Zhexi came out from the car with a bouquet of flowers.

"I hope you didn't wait too long."

Xu Wenwen stared frozen at Mo Zhexi for a while. Mo Zhexi wore a black suit today and his hair was perfectly gelled.

Was he going to wear a suit to watch a movie?

"Here, for you."

"T-thank you."

"Shall we go?"

"Okay."

Mo Zhexi then went to the other side of the car and opened the door for Xu Wenwen to board.

Xu Wenwen felt like she was being treated like a princess. And it made her happy.

Mo Zhexi saw that she was smiling and thought that his action made her happy. His lips then curled upwards involuntarily.

Thirty minutes later, they arrived at the cinema. Coincidently, the cinema was own by the Mo family. And Mo Zhexi used this opportunity to plan his success on courting Xu Wenwen.

Once they got their food and drinks, they went inside to find the theater where the movie they were going to watch.

After that, they needed to find the seat that has been assigned in the tickets. Then, a staff showed them where they will be going to sit.

To Xu Wenwen surprised, it was a couple seat. She remembered clearly that she didn't buy a couple seat. Perhaps the staff was mistaken.

"I'm sorry but I remembered the seats I bought were not a couple seat."

"Miss, the tickets indeed showed that you bought this seat."

"But I--"

Before Xu Wenwen could talk, Mo Zhexi opened his mouth and spoke.

"It's alright. You can get back to work."

Then, he turned his head and looked at her.

"It's just a couple seat. Are you afraid of sitting next to me?"

"Of course not. I'm just confused."

"Well, okay then. Come and sit beside me."

Xu Wenwen was nervous. She never sat that close to Mo Zhexi before. It's like a new experience.

Her heart beat so fast. She hoped the movie starts soon.

Mo Zhexi looked at Xu Wenwen fidgeting and was not looking at him. It's cute. So cute. He then put his hand on top of her hand.

Xu Wenwen was startled and immediately turned her head and looked at him.

Mo Zhexi pretended nothing happen and his eyes stared at the screen instead of looking at her. He didn't want her to be awkward.

Both of them stayed quiet while watching the movie but in actual fact, they were thinking about each other.
