"Baby, are you still scared?" Kendrick asked pulling her more closely in his lap. He slightly rubbed her shoulder trying to ease her joint pain. This same moment in both their lives she finds hard to forget, maybe Ashlyn loves life so much, she's ready to hold on for as long as it lasted.

"No. Trust me, I am not. Just a bit tired." Ashlyn slowly muttered moving her neck following his fingertips.
