After he left the room, I changed my dress and wore a sea-green crop top with black jeans, I let my hair fall on my back and put a hairband on it.

When I was done with my makeover I moved towards the downstairs.

He looked at me with awe in his eyes and blurted out "you now look like a girl".

His remark seemed like a slap on my face, I darkened my face and mumbled, "wasn't I a girl all my life?"

"Are you ready! "he asked me dragging me back to reality.

I shook my head in agreement and said, "Yes!"

He threw my phone to me saying "am done with it".

I flinched and caught it before it fell to the floor.

"Ashlyn!, come over here "he called me motioning to move towards him.

I walked to where he was seated.

He asked me to stretch out my hand and I did, then he brought out a small ring box and put the ring on my hand "it fitted perfectly".
