In the hotel, Charlie just entered a tidy white meeting room with yellowish lighting, where employees awaited him.
"Sorry I'm late," he said.
"It's okay, Mr. Parker. The important thing is you're okay," replied Xander, sitting nearby.
Charlie sighed. "I'm sorry my issues scared you all, but isn't everything better now?"
"Yes, security is tighter, but the hotel's popularity has dropped almost 70 percent," said a female employee in a gray suit. "Since the shooting incident, customers have canceled plans to visit, and we had to refund them. Even those who stayed here before canceled their extensions. As a result, our income has decreased."
Charlie nodded. "I know that. Haven't I asked for new ads and promotions?"
"We're preparing that, but finding the right model is challenging. Our ideas don't seem to impact customers," said a resigned-looking female employee. "We've spent a lot on new ads, but it hasn't yielded results."
