Becoming Friends

POV*: Sofia

Jackie laughed and jumped off the couch. "Well, Sofia." He added, "I have something to manage so see you later," as I turned to gaze at him. He gave a little smile while smirking.

"Wait... Something to handle?" I inquired. I raise an eyebrow and say, "Hmm", crossing my arms across my chest.

"Yeah. Indeed, so". He gave a troubled smile as he hesitated to rub his head. "See you... Bye," he added.

"Avoid making a scene... And come back as soon as you can," I warned, giving him a stern look. I chuckled, "We're having a dinner party tonight."

Dinner party? He grinned. "Sure", He nodded and moved toward the front door. "See you later in the day."

In a moment...

Julie P. O.

I was seated on the mattress. My head and heart, however, were pleading with me to leave this place immediately and flee. Then, I felt a pull from Priyal in my recollection. She is missing. I didn't know anything about her situation or who they were. Why are they supporting me? My heart starts to race with questions... And I know just who will figure out this puzzle.

KNOCK KNOCK

Behind the door, I heard a knock. I said, "Come in." I heard a door snap open. a stunning young lady with orange eyes and thin eyebrows. She looks even more gorgeous with a warm smile on her cherry lips. She was dressed in a light-colored open-necked gown with a little shoulder strap. In front of me, she moved. I grin kindly at her.

I motion for her to sit on the bed next to me. I saw that she smiled throughout the entire time she gave a gentle nod and said, "Hi, my name is Sofia."

I grinned and extended my right hand to her, calling her by her first name, Sofia. I said, "Nice to meet you. My name is Julie." She extended her right hand to shake my hand.

She withdrew her hand."Nice to meet you too", she said with a smile.

I could have easily drowned in her mesmerizing eyes. "Can we become friends?" Sofia asked as she broke the tension. Her eyebrows rose naturally, and she continued to grin sweetly at me.

I purposefully nodded in agreement, saying, "Of sure, why not?" She sprang, wrapped her arms around my neck, and gave me a hard hug just as I started to speak. I smiled as I encircled her with my arms.

"I am so fortunate that you accept me as your friend", she said, pushing us apart. "Are you okay, Now?" she said while placing her hands on my hand. She spoke in a sympathetic and mildly worried tone.

I smiled at her in return and said, "Me too." I also added, "I am very fine, thanks to you guys." I nodded.

She whispered, nodding her head, "No, It's our joy to assist you". She is beautiful, and I have to admit that her voice is lovely.

Well, I'm sure you're wondering about us and why we're assisting you, right? As she looked at me with comfort, she questioned me.

I nodded as she said, "Let me present them to you step by step." She then chuckled.

She started by displaying a few photos from her phone. When I looked down, I recognized a familiar face. His eyes were blood-red, and his hair was a pale golden colour. His smile was excellent, and his front wisdom teeth were giving him a menacing grin.

"He is Juffer, the CEO of the international trends and firm (JH), and he is sweet but also cold", she chuckled as I snatched her phone from my fingers. "He is devoted to his people". She snatched her phone back and continued, "This much, I can only tell you about him. He is the first kid and only son in his family. And once we've been living together for a while, you'll know how we are".

"Living together?", I startledly inquired.

"Of course, we'll cohabitate going forward."She put her hand on mine while grinning.

"But wait, why?"I questioned.

"Ahmm... This will be covered throughout the evening's dinner conversation". She chewed her bottom lips and murmured.

She cuts me off before I can finish my sentence with "but-."

"Ahyo! I-... Let's introduce some more people" She said while scrolling through the next photo on her phone and nodding.

I noticed another familiar face as I looked down. His hair was midnight black, and his eyes were golden. He had the most endearing smile.

"He is Leo, Juffer's right hand and best pal, she chuckled. He is a stakeholder and the company's executive director. He enjoys listening to music while working seriously."

She smiled and tapped the next image on her phone.

"Well, this is Jackie. My younger brother by one minute and my left hand. He oversees all aspects of the JH company. He loves to flirt with women and is a fun and kind guy. However, he turns serious and responsible when it comes to games and business".

She smiles as she places her phone on her luggage and then says, "Juffer, Leo, and Jackie... They are my childhood best friends, along with me. They resemble brothers, and their bond is quite special".

"Wow, you guys, your relationship is just amazing". As I gave her a beautiful grin, I smiled.

She spoke regretfully, her face suddenly turning pitch black, and said, "Here is another individual, Who forgot us and herself.. Who she is?." Her brows furrow.
