The next morning, Kyle took care of all the household matters before he decided to leave for the academy with Nine. He needed to enter the Tower of Opportunity, and the best way for him to do that was through the academy.

Since Baron Ohan wasn't in good condition to handle everything while he was away, Kyle asked the butler, who had been serving the house for 25 years, to make decisions and take care of other household matters.

He wasn't worried about the butler doing anything behind his back because the old man had been with his family since his childhood.

Kyle entered his father's room and reassured him once again that he would definitely bring back the elixir of life. All Baron Ohan had to do was wait and not lose hope.

At first, the old man was hesitant, but when he learned that Kyle would be entering the Tower of Opportunity instead of the dangerous dark forest, he agreed. The Tower was much safer compared to the forest where death was a common occurrence.

Kyle checked the manor and found the only (D)-Rank sword available. The sword he was using wasn't ranked. Recently, while practicing his sword art, he realized he needed a better weapon to execute it perfectly.

In every Continent, weapons are also divided into ranked and unranked categories.

Unranked weapons are less powerful because they're made of regular materials. Ranked weapons are sturdier and more durable since they require more time and resources to construct. The higher the rank, the more powerful the weapon.

Lastly, Kyle went to check on his brothers one more time, and unfortunately, their condition wasn't much better than before. Instead of improving, their condition seemed to have worsened as the black lines spreading on their bodies became more vivid.

The other two patients who were injured alongside his brothers during the monsters' outbreak were also being taken care of by the healers. Kyle didn't know where they were from because they were just some adventurers who decided to help during the monster attack.

During their journey, Nine noticed some subtle changes in Kyle's appearance.

The tips of Kyle's black hair, which were slightly silver before, were now more noticeable and brighter. Additionally, there was a hint of emerald color in the center of Kyle's black eyes.

At first, Nine didn't pay much attention to these changes, but as he spent more time with Kyle, he couldn't help but notice them.

'Hair color is fine, but how can someone's eye color change...?'

After that, the duo started following a first-year student who told them that Vice Principal George was going to make an announcement. As a result, all the first and second-year students were required to gather at the center of the academy.

It took them about ten minutes to reach the center of the academy. The center of the academy was a big open space surrounded by buildings, and there was a small platform set up at one end.
