46 The Princess and her royal guards

The kids were getting along well. I had noticed both new Disciples had taken a liking to Mayank fairly quickly. They all practiced their powers together the last few days as I awaited the new league mission that I knew would come anywhere between now and the next few months. Time was different from the show I remembered and it also changed quite a lot due to my influence. The more I interact with this world, the more I notice the changes my presence has caused.

As the kids practiced and I watched Scream use his ability more and more, I realized how versatile it actually was. He could imbue his weapon with powers and those powers could do many different things. Although he could use only one power at a time, he had access to many different magical attacks including gravity, fire, ice, electric, black magic, a magic he called glintstone magic, buffing magic, healing magic, blood magic, shielding magic, and many more. It was an extremely handy power.

Once his training was over I planned to gift him the moonblade I had stolen from Felix Faust's storage room, it was blade that changed it's shape depending on the moon phase. I had considered keeping it for myself, but I preferred my fist. Instead I just added swordsmanship to Matteo's training and decided to give it to him later considering his power would go great with it. This blade used to be owned by Constantine, so I changed it's appearance slightly. I didn't want him asking for it back later.

As for Charlottes doll house power, it had two functions I didn't know about before until I watched more of her training. She could turn her dolls back into their old self and also had a personal inventory in which she could store her dolls and other items that she called the dollhouse. She herself could also retreat into this space if need be. I haven't found a proper item to gift her after her training yet sadly.

As for Mayank, his power was always surprising me. The fairies he controlled could do quite a lot, but they were most gifted in fights against magical beings. The more he practiced it, the more fairies he could summon. The fairies could eat through almost anything and could block most attacks. It was a near perfect passive offensive and defensive skill. They would spring into action on their own to protect Mayank, but they also could take orders from him.

After waking up today I had a new system task.

New Task:

Have a concert in Central City - 20,000c

25c for every item of merchandise sold at the concert

Over the top special effects and theatrics - 10,000c

Sing at least one rap or hip hop song - 5000c

Sing at least one screamo song - 5000c

I have 120,000c to spend, but I wanted to save up for the house and city upgrade which was 250,000c. I had quite a lot more to go. If I did good on this new task, I could get quite a lot of coins and so I wanted to try my best. While the three were training in the holodeck, I went to my room and started making calls.

I had contacted Central Cities top venues to try and book a timeslot a few months from now thinking I could save money if I did so, but was surprised to find out the backstreet boys not only existed in this world and were still very popular, but they were looking for someone to open for them. The band that was supposed to open for them had cancelled last second. The catch was that I would have to be ready in two days.

I agreed to their proposal, I had worked quickly before with less time and was able to pull something decent off. I could do it again, I was sure of it. I went to my three new disciples to let them know I was going to be out for a couple of days.

"Mayank, Matteo, Charlotte, I'm going to be going to Central City on Justice League business, I'll be gone for at least two days".

The three looked somewhat excited. Charlotte spoke up for the group, "Can we come with you? We won't be a burden to you or the league".

I felt bad for lying to the three, but had no other choice right now. "I'm going there to just talk with someone, there won't be any action, but you are free to go wherever you want, just not along side me today".

"So we can go to Central City, just not with you?" Matteo asked.

Thinking for a second I had an idea. "Are you guys interested in concerts? The backstreet boys are playing in Central City and I could get you all some front row seat tickets. How does that sound?"

"Are you secretly a billionaire? This house has tech that I can see only in my dreams and you also have the money to get front row backstreet boy seats?" Mayank asked in awe.

I laughed "I'll leave my identity up to your imagination, I know boy bands aren't really something most guys like, but I heard other bands will be playing as well. Are you three interested?"

The three had all expressed their interest and started to get ready. I was going to pay for a 3 night hotel stay for them in central city. I also pre paid a limo service to take them to the hotel and then later to the concert. I would be staying elsewhere. I had no need to worry about them. They were strong.

I quickly posted a concert announcement on all my internet socials before I said my goodbyes to the three and headed out. Two days notice was a really short time for most people to get tickets and go to the show, but opening for a popular band was a chance I didn't want to pass up. I hoped my fans would understand.

I needed to speak with the stage hands to make sure the stage was setup properly for my performance. After that I needed to go to a shirt printing shop and have some band shirts custom made. After that I needed to get a number of cd's made.

Shortly after I left my house a limo showed up outside to see three young pre teens waiting for it. The two boys were dressed in black suits and sunglasses and the girl was in a beautiful dress. Anyone who was to look at the three would assume she was some young royalty or celeb with two young body guards.
