Invasion and advancements

While flying and walking around Moonlight City, I got continuous reports by listening to the Justice League coms. They wanted my help with things and had asked once, but I told them my duties as King came first before my duties as someone that was part of the Justice League. Eventually the coms had gone silent and if I didn't know the events thanks to my script readers perfect recall, I would have thought the worst. 

The invasion seemed non stop. Every five to ten minutes either one of the towers captured a Thanagarian or one of my people and myself caught one. Using my Moonlight computers satellite I could see that everywhere else on earth had it a lot worse. The number of Thanagarians flying through the skies elsewhere seemed almost limitless. Rarely a whole Thanagarian ship would descend on Moonlight City and unknown to the Thanagarians, they were helping me with my task of stealing from them. 

Each time a ship would fly above the City, my towers would capture everyone on board and then id fly the ship to in front of Moonlight Castle and land it on the lawn. We currently had three ships and counting. The only bad part was that I still hadn't gotten the ship I wanted. I would probably still have to go look for it later. I have stripped countless Thanagarians nude and thrown them onto war world where they could no longer attack earth or be able to communicate with the rest of their people. 

The invasion/war went on for a couple of weeks before people in our city started to complain of lack of resources or at least that was when the food shortage had reached my ears. The food supply was the biggest concern. Luckily due to knowing of the invasion ahead of time, I had many things prepared including food that didn't spoil easy, baby formula, reusable adjustable clothed diapers, etc. 

The people that worked for me went door to door delivering whatever supplies that was needed. As for the homeless, they tried to stay near the towers for protection and could be seen mostly around Champions Navi. Because I had nothing to do aside from the occasional small battle during this time, I had hired construction workers to start building the restaurant that I was going to have connect to Champions Navi. 

While they built the building add on, Mayank/Whisper and Osul watched over them and even assisted them at times when needed. Because I planned for this to be an interstellar fast food restaurant chain and not just a place to eat on earth, I had Lola's help in adding other alien diet items to the menu. Every food item was named after a Hero of earth, even the aliens ones.

Because I couldn't put every known planets diet on the menu, I figured I would select the diets of specific alien planets that have a Hero on our earth. So I chose Mars, Tamaran, Terminus, Thanagar, Czarnia, Rann, and because I wanted to bring the lost cuisine back for Supergirl, I added Krypton to the list. Maybe there were others aside from Kryptonians that would enjoy it as well?

The holodeck continued to pay for itself when it came to things like this. Just like the Star Trek holodeck I figured it was based on, it worked using replicator technology and so If you made food inside the holodeck, it was just as real as food outside of the holodeck. Due to this I could hunt Kryptonian animals, farm Kryptonian plant life, or even have ready made food with a simple command. 

It was how I had been keeping up with my Saiyan appetite and the prisoners food needs before I had struck it rich. Even now I still use it despite having so much money. It wasn't cheap to make movies and so I still spent money like I had used to. Why buy food when you only needed to supply the holodeck with occasional organic matter? 

Of course I could also have the holodeck create people due to them being made of organic matter, but intelligent life inside the holodeck was purely Artificial intelligence even if they were made of flesh and blood and unlike the food, they couldn't leave the holodeck. The people created inside were not real people. It was sometimes easy to forget this with how the people inside the holodeck seemed. 

For the Kryptonian dish I went with Jor-El's Jor-itos which was a common street food on Krypton made from a special grain native from Krypton. According to Supergirl it was one of the foods she missed most and to make her happy I decided to add it and rename it Zor-El's Zor-itos. 

For Green Martian food I made a dish called J'onzzerella cheese sticks. The breading was made with Marsroot and Gloopernuts which was a large part of the Green Martian diet. 

Earths food choices had more than the rest with names like Shazam-azing Shakes, Batwings, Flash Food Fries, Souperman's Soup, Power Ring Donuts, Aqua fish tacos, Moon Pies, King Burgers, Cosmic Starlit Brownies, Wonder-ful Waffles, Ice Scream, Solar Slushies, Jeff's stark-bite Sushi, and even Arc Reactor energy drinks. To keep the restaurants name simple, I decided to call it 'Champions fast food'. 

As I was thinking about my future interstellar fast food chain, Batman was heard on the Justice League com. "Batman to King Moonlight. The Thanagarians had gotten the access codes from Hawk girl and captured everyone in the space station. Thankfully we all escaped after becoming prisoner for a short time and have now decided to hide in our civilian Identities until we have a better plan. Do you have any ideas? The Thanagarians have issued a Martial Law and we are currently hidden in a department store as the Thanagarians patrol outside." 

Tapping the com in my ear, I gave a reply. "All of you should come to Moonlight City right now so we can discuss a plan. It's completely safe here without any Thanagarians in sight as of right now. I believe they finally gave up on attacking Moonlight City due to how many people and resources they were losing. I'll meet you at my castles entrance. I have lifted Superman's ban."

Batman paused on the other side of the coms before finally getting back to me. "We have all just agreed that your plan is best for now. We will come to Moonlight City."

I smiled. "Sounds good, I'll see you guys soon."

I thought the conversation was over until Batman was heard on the com again. "Moonlight, when all of this is over, Id like to have a talk with you. Please make time."

I didn't reply to Batman's last words. I had a rough idea on what he wanted to talk about, but I didn't care. My future plans were bigger than Batman or the league. Leaving the sidekick robots to patrol the streets for now, I gathered everyone that lived with me and went to prepare for the Justice Leagues arrival. 

Opening up my systems domain tab, I eyed the domain upgrade cost. The next upgrade was costly, but seeing the info the system provided about the next upgrade, it was worth it. No, the other two upgrades couldn't even compare to this one. It was on a whole other level from the previous two. I had the coins now if I wanted to upgrade, but I decided to hold off until the invasion was over if I could afford to do so.
