Doomsday (part 1)

My disciples and Cosmic Starlight all went to join Static and Booster gold in their fight against Hawk girl and Green Lantern as the Phaelosian's with their new hero costumes went to help Golden Amazo if he needed it while he fought Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, and Superman. Both felt like over kill, but it was better to be safe than sorry. 

As I arrived in front of the battle with Doomsday, I saw a bleak scene in front of me. Supergirl, Crush, and Captain Marvel were not doing well against the Monster. In fact, they were all very obviously hanging by a thread, but had thankfully lured Doomsday away from the city. They were currently fighting in a large empty field near Smallville. A couple of news helicopters had followed then all the way here. The news reporters in the DC Universe had balls of steel which they had displayed time and time again to me after I had arrived on this Earth. 

Seeing the always cheerful Supergirl look so beat up and worn out as she struggled to stand, I felt a little guilty. When Doomsday ran towards her, targeting her again, I decided it was now or never. It was still somewhat hard for me to powerup while in battle, so I had powered up to SS1 before I had left the Castle. Right as Doomsdays fist was about to hit Supergirl I moved so fast that I all but teleported in front Supergirl catching the Monsters fist in my hand, and then crushing it. 

The Monster Doomsday wailed in pain as it stepped back. Feeling Supergirl behind me about to fall to the ground. I picked her up and teleported her to my Castle and then quickly took her to my bedroom and let her sleep on my bed which slowly healed those that slept on it. I then moved back to the battlefield as quickly as possible, which took less than a minute in my current form. 

Doomsdays hand had been healed and he was currently dragging Captain Marvel and Crush in each hand. The Monster seeing me arrive, spoke. "I'll admit that you surprised me last time, but if you think you can surprise me again, you are mistaken. I was hoping for a challenge when I arrived here on this planet, sadly I have only been met with disappointment again and again. You are all lesser lifeforms in my eyes". 

If I hadn't had script readers perfect recall, I would have been surprised he could talk and seemed intelligent. The doomsdays I could remember were all wild beast's. This one was the only version with intelligence and strength. 

"Drop the kids" I said as I landed in front of him. Captain Marvel was in his child form, being held by his head as doomsday gripped it like a basketball, while crush a teenage girl was being held by her hair in his other hand. They were both a sorry mess and if they died it would be my fault. I had no idea how to answer to the Justice League or Lobo if Doomsday was to kill them. 

"You mean these flies? asked Doomsday as he threw both of them high up into the sky. Moving as fast as I could I grabbed Captain Marvel out of the sky first and then sat him down half a mile away on top of a building. Captain Marvel who was still conscious spoke as I was leaving. "Be careful, he seems to adapt quickly after every attack..." 

I patted him on the back. "I still have to pay you back for healing the little girl for me Billy, don't worry, I won't die and neither will you. 

Captain Marvel paused and looked up at me as I was flying away. "...I never told you my name". 

It was a slip up on my part, but I didn't have time to care as I flew back at such a speed that I had only been gone for the couple of seconds and a couple more seconds going a half a mile away and back as I grabbed the still falling Crush out of the air. When I flew away with her and got near Captain Marvel again, Crush spoke. "Let me go old man".

Seeing that we were only a couple of feet from the buildings rooftop, I did just that. I dropped her. She was half Czarnian and was very durable. It wouldn't hurt her even in her current state. How dare she be so rude and call me an old man after I saved her life. 

As I was about to fly back to Doomsday. I heard her yelling at me. "You piece of shit moon b!tch, is this how you treat the people that risked their life to help you?" She had a point, but I had no time to be lectured by her. 

Landing in front of Doomsday again, he spoke. "I thought you had ran away". 

I scoffed at his words. "You aren't worth running away from and I'm honestly not the type". 

Not one to talk or prolong fights any more than they needed to be, I rushed in and began a volley of punches on his torso and face. His chest cavity quickly collapsed and one of the horns coming out of his chin had broken off. Not wanting to sit and just be pummeled, Doomsday punched out a number of times as I flawlessly avoided each blow. I felt his strength level was similar to my own, but I was still a lot faster than him and was proficient in Martial arts . 

Seeing one of the news helicopters above get a little too close and worried they would be caught up in the battle, I got a little distracted by them. Doomsday took the opportunity to kick out his foot causing me to fly half a mile away. Stopping myself midair, I looked back towards the Monster who was already fully healed and heading my way at a faster speed than he had previously shown while fighting me. He was growing faster than I anticipated. His evolution was something that was visible to the naked eye. 

The Justice Lord Superman had lobotomized Doomsday originally and it honestly wasn't a bad idea, but my eye beams weren't as strong and I had news reporters following me around. Lobotomizing him was out of the question even if I could.
