35 Atlantis

Arriving at the the Atlantis dome, I was met by a a large group Atlantean guards. I wanted to make a good impression so I told Hila to follow me as I put my hands up. Hila had learned on the way here that she was in fact not stronger than me and has started to be a bit more cooperative.

The guards seeing that we did not put up a fight, took us inside Atlantis and led us to the center of the large city where we were placed inside temporary jail cells as we awaited judgement by the king of Atlantis. Hila being an enemy of Atlantis and me being an outsider, I understood.

I could speak within the dome, but I kept my mouth shut, I will talk only when I am in front the king or if I absolutely had to. I had no idea how many Atlanteans around me worked for Orm. It would be dumb of me to run my mouth to anyone that would listen.

They had placed Hila in a more comfortable cell next to mine and catered to her whims. Hila might have been an enemy of Atlantis, but she was also the twin of Mera, queen of Atlantis. She might not get along with Mera, but she is still her sister and that got her a certain level of respect from some Atlanteans.

As for me, they just ignored me. Hila laughed in the cell next to mine "I thought you knew someone here or had a plan, did you not think this through?"

I ignored her, but she continued to talk. "I might be able to save you, if you agree to serve under me and do what I want".

I scoffed at her words "I have a plan and this is part of it"

After a pause, she spoke again "...Oh I see, well don't say I didn't try to help later"

After about half a days time, some guards came and grabbed both of us and then took us to the palace where we were put in front of Aquaman and Mera on their thrones.

Mera looked down at her sister, but held her tongue as Aquaman spoke to me. "How do you know of Atlantis and what is your motive in bringing Hila here?"

A guard behind me kicked the back of my knee in an attempt to bring me to my knees, but failed. "You will kneel in front of his majesty!"

I shook my head "I am a King myself, I will not kneel, as to how I know about Atlantis and why I am here? I can't answer that unless I am speaking to only you and Queen Mera. Id like to request for everyone else aside from you two and Hila here to leave. I have important matters to tell you".

"YOU DARE?" The guard that had kicked the back of my knee earlier was about to hit me again. I was trying to be nice, but I didn't have to put up with this. "Touch me again, and I won't be so nice next time. I am here on a diplomatic mission as a messenger, but I refuse to be treated any worse than I have already been treated while here".

"Enough, stand down. If he can drag Hila here, he should be pretty strong. I don't think he means harm. Clear the room". said Aquaman

The guards wanted to argue on the matter, but they couldn't oppose Aquaman's orders and so they left the throne room, leaving only Hila, Mera, Aquaman, and myself.

Seeing that everyone had left, I spoke. "I know of two conspiracy's against your life and Atlantis, I wish to tell you about them to build up good will and develop a good relationship with Atlantis in hopes for future diplomacy between Atlanteans and the world above."

Aquamans attention was clearly grabbed by my words, but he tried to not let it show. "Speak then, if these conspiracies are found to be true and a real threat to Atlantis, you will be rewarded. If they turn out to be false, you will face trial".

"The first conspiracy against Atlantis is from Kandor. He mind controlled Hila here and she was on her way with others to attack Atlantis before I intercepted them. I want to stress that Hila was not acting upon her own wishes at the time and I have also removed the mind control from her."

Mera looked down at her sister in pity "Sister, why do you have such bad taste in men?"

Hila looked angry as hell before Aquaman raised his hand and asked. "and the second conspiracy"?

I looked at Aquaman with a serious look "Your brother Orm is plotting against you as we speak and a number of Atlanteans support him. You may not believe me, but this is the truth. I have nothing to gain but your trust telling you this."

Aquaman clearly agitated stood up from his throne . "GUARDS! Take these two back to their cells"

The guards came in and took me away along with Hila who seemed to be having a good time. "I hAVe A pLaN". She mocked.

I could easily get away and leave Atlantis if I wanted, but I had no reason to run, things were still in my favor.

When we were back in our cells, I figured I had time to kill, so I thought about my future plans. I needed to update my online playlist and check out my real life money.

Spotify pays based on how many times each track was listened to and I hadn't checked it at all since I uploaded my songs. Considering my current popularity, I should be making a decent amount of money by now.

Having a house, food and drink, and almost everything else I need already for free, the money would just continue to add up over time. Maybe it was time to buy a motorcycle as transport when I make appearances as my celebrity self? I think when I'm done in Atlantis, I might go shopping for house decorations, a vehicle, and other things I can't get from the system.

I could even buy the land around my house to make it legally mine. After buying enough land I can also open a small shop as an investment and run it. I could use it to sell moonlight city themed item, super hero action figures and clothing, my cd's and many other things.

I also still had plans to form a Justice League reserve or a teen titans which I haven't put any effort into yet.
