39. Double Tròuble.

" Soo..? How is he?" I ask the doctor impatiently.

" Am not pretty sure about his condition, he might need a proper check up, maybe in the hospital."

He disappoint me with his words "What do mean !? Is it that bad!?"

" Am not sure."

" Not even the slightest idea? You really got to be kidding me , then why are we waiting for? Shouldn't we be on our way yo the hospital?" Damnit!! We should have just gone to the hospital immediately he passed out, what's this?

"I've called for an ambulance." This is our family doctor , we always reach out to him when there's a problem because he's near us, I've never felt so disappointed in him as today , why didn't he say anything earlier.. that this condition needs a serious check up!!

" His heart has weak pulses." Okay his words has just stopped my air flow right now , weak pulses?!

Tenor what are you doing? Please wake up, don't make me this worried.

We hear the ambulance outside , within a minute there are people in the room picking him up, we all follow them, no one is saying anything, dad and I join in the ambulance while mom and others follow with the car.

In the ambulance they try checking him up. " He needs oxygen , his breathing is so weak . "

They put oxygen on him and keep doing other things to him. God please help him.. I pray silently, Within few minutes we're at the hospital, they rush him in a room that they don't let us in.

We're waiting outside, my legs feel so weak but I have no patience to sit down, mom , nanny and Taylor arrive, "how is he?" mom askes the first thing she sees us.

" They haven't said anything yet." dad answers. "He'll be alright , he's gonna be okay . " he says trying to comfort everyone but evidently he's so worried too .

Tayler is still crying and not saying anything since earlier, nanny is looking at me with a worried face, "He'll be alright, don't worry." she says.

I really wanna cry right now but it's not good to cry for a person who is still fighting for their life, same words keep rotating in my head ' I did that to him, I can't really do anything right' 

My head is throbbing, I feel weak but still can't sit.

The door opens and an average aged man come out , we rush towards him, "Can I see him please, please.. I know he's alright, can I see him?" I plead.

"Calm down, Am sorry but you can't go in now, we've checked him and found out that he has something called ,, idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy, it's a long term condition that he's been leaving with, for about nine years now, and now it has been triggered by the stress that am sure he has experienced lately which has made his condition to reach to it's maximum.. and for that reason he'll need a heart surgery within five hours to save him, as we're talking, we are already planning for it and we can start in 20minutes.

I wanted to say as much as that stress has caused so much danger , it has also helped for you to know that he has a problem that has been growing in him day by day , he might have just died abruptly if you hadn't known earlier . Now we need someone who is family to sign."

The last thing I heard clearly the doctor mention was ' heart surgery within five hours and he might have died abruptly! ' Everything else is not clear to me, I can't even see clearly am seeing double things even if they are one , I need to see him! I need to s..

" Tyler ?! Tyler?! What on Earth has happened to him? " his mother calls him but he isn't responding in any way, he had collapse due to so much emotions going on inside of him and the terrible headache.

Everyone is startled and wondering just what on earth is happening, Tayler is even crying more.

The nurses pick him up and take him in a ward , they put drips of water on him.

On the other side Tenor in the intensive Care unit room wakes up the moment they were about to start preparing him for the surgery, he's so weak that he can't even rise a finger.

He opens his eyes slightly and weakly then closes them again , his lips are so pale and dry, almost like he has no blood at all. " Thyl.."  he struggles to talk .

Doctor. "what.."

" Thy..l.er" he repeats still struggling to make his words clear.

" Heeey..Hi.. Am doctor Henry ,, You collapsed due to a condition in your heart that you haven't been aware of.. but don't worry, you are in good hands ,, you will have a heart surgery which will make you healthy again.. the moment it's done we will let everyone you want to come see you , but for now you'll have to be patient for A bit, I promise you are in the safest place and this needs to happen right away, okay?" He tells him with a soft voice trying to make him relax but with no success.

" Ty..ler..see..co..me . " he insists . Tenor knowing that he is in a hospital, he feels like this is his end because of the way he is feeling.

He insists on seeing Tyler because just in case he doesn't wake up from the surgery, he just want to see him for the last time and tell him how much he loves him and how he make him feel .

" Doc. I think we should bring the person he wants for once to save the time because he doesn't seem like he's gonna give in before he sees that person. " one nurse suggests.

" Okay , just 3 minutes." the nurse goes to look for Tyler, she finds Joe and nanny sitting waiting outside.

" You are Tenor O'Brien's family, right??"

Joe and nanny stands up quickly," yes " they answer in unison with fear on their faces, they know for sure the surgery can't be over that first .

" He wants to see Tyler, and please can you make it quick because the surgery has to start in ten minutes, he isn't letting anyone touch him unless he sees him, so I need him to follow me right now."

" Holy crap! " Joe curses ," why is this happening?"

" Sir.. we're running out of time." the nurse adds impatiently.

" The person he wants to see just passed out few minutes ago, and he isn't up yet." He answers worriedly.

"Noo..! We can't tell him that, can we!?" The nurse looks stressed out too.

" Seriously?! What are you conversing there? We're running out of time, he has just become even worse demanding to see Tyler, he won't let anyone touch him , where is the person he wants to see?!" The doctor comes rushing impatiently .

" Doc. He passed out, he's in the ward" the nurse answers.

" Then wake him up anyhow! We need to start that surgery in exactly 25minutes if it has to succeed."

The nurse , Joe and nanny rush to the ward , " We need him , you have to wake him up anyhow." the nurse tells the doctor in charge of Tyler, Alexa who was sitting with him in the ward together with Tayler come near asking, " what do you need him for?"

" The patient to have the surgery has woken up and won't let anyone touch him unless he has seen Tyler,, that's the name he's been calling since he woke up , that surgery have to start now In 20minutes." 

"Hagh!! God help us." Alexa says worriedly too.

"I've administered to him the medicine that should have woken him up by now but there's no reaction." his doctor says.

Tenor's doctor barge into the ward , " if the medicine is not working can't you try anything else, all of you here.. can't you think of anything?"

He goes straight to Tyler's bed, " Hey Tyler?! TYler you need to save Tenor life, you are the only hope now, please wake up and help us save his life..." Tenor's doctor say near him but still no reaction .

He tries again, "Tyler... Tenor is up and wants to see you , don't you wanna see him?!"

" T... Tenor.." he struggles opening his eyes as he mumbles Tenor's name , he suddenly sit upright in one quick move and then gets off the bed , his hand is bleeding because the needle he had , has been removed by force as he get of the bed.

"Tenor , where is he ? I need to see him , I need to see him, I need to see him..." 

He keeps repeating those words as he's being rushed to Tenor's room.

The moment he enters he runs to him "Heeey,, you ...you have to be okay, do you hear me? I don't know what you'll do but make sure you are okay, am waiting for you, keep that in mind..." Tyler had been told that there's no much time left so he shouldn't stay for long . He had alot to say but those are the only words that got out of his mouth...

Tenor slightly move his hand and holds Tyler's , "don't..leave me here..all alone.." he says weakly.

" I won't , I'll never do that.."

After hearing Tyler say that , Tenor passes out again.

" What happened to him again? Is he alright?!? Tenor?!?" Tyler asks looking worried.

" He's okay, just stay in here but on that chair as we do the surgery." The doctor says knowing exactly what happens when they disrespect the wish of a patient like Tenor.

He shows Tyler a chair that is few meters away , Tyler goes and the the surgery starts.
