I have always enjoyed reading romance and mystery novels. I especially love when those two genres converge so here is my own take. One thing I do want to mention so there is not too much confusion, Brian Harper, my protagonist, as is promptly mentioned works as a Detective for a private company, however, it is affiliated with the Metropolitan Police Department. The company is also full of stock marketers and stuff like that. The profits which are generated from the stock markets and such are then put into the Major Crimes department which allows for the department to have more toys and resources available to them.
