Tempting a Snake with grand ideas

The Big Snake glared at the little snake before saying, "Thank you for your kindness to my daughter." Jin Wu's eyes widened, "Daughter?!" before turning to Mu Yu, complaining "Is every demon beast female?!"

Mu Yu laughed at him heartlessly as the snake was confused, but soon forgot about it, turning around to slither away. Jin Wu quickly stopped her, "Miss… Erm… Snake! Please wait a sec!"

The Big Snake turned around and her eyes that were bigger than Jin Wu looked at him cautiously, "What is it, human?" Jin Wu's eyes were swimming with conspiracies as he started his performance, "Aren't you aggrieved living in the Eclipse Forest all the time? You know there's a whole lotta world outside."

The Snake lady rolled her eyes and retorted, "As well as danger." Jin Wu smiled and snapped his fingers, "Yes! Exactly! However, that doesn't have to be the case!" he pulled out a Jade Willow, continuing "You see this device? This is our new Device, the Jade Willow 1. This Device can allow you to contact the outside world and interact with people anonymously as well as obtain resources from them without disclosing your identity!"

The Snake lady frowned… or at least it felt like a frown… at any rate, she didn't buy what Jin Wu was selling.

Mu Yu looked at Jin Wu impersonating a snake oil salesman… to a snake and she was speechless.

Jin Wu walked over, holding out the Jade Willow, smiling "Actually, you don't need hands if that's what you're wondering. You can interact with it using Spiritual Thoughts as well. All you have to do is make an account. There's no catch at all."

The Snake Lady looked at him flatly, clearly not interested, but how could a simple disinterest stop Jin Wu?

He continued, "You might think I'm selling you snake oil- Erm! I mean, lying to you! Haha… Anyway, what I'm trying to say is; you're stuck in this Eclipse Forest all day, do you want the same for your daughter? Look at this place."

Jin Wu waved around them, adding "This place sucks! Who would want to live here? Seriously! If I was a snake, I wouldn't. So here's where this device steps in." he pointed at the phone, explaining "Let's say you want to turn into a human, a simple transformation grass would do the trick! However, there's no Transformation Grass in the Eclipse Forest so you're stuck."

He waved the phone and smiled at the Snake, "What if I told you that someone found transformation grass outside and wanted to trade for Demon Beast Corpses?" the Snake Lady looked at him like a fool, "Who would trade Divine Medicine for a Corpse?"

Jin Wu waved his finger, "But for Humans it's useless." The Snake lady fell silent, finally asking "How does it work?" Jin Wu's eyes lit up and he helped the Snake Lady make an account on the Phone.

The Phone floated in front of the Snake Lady as she interacted with it, her eyes widening as Jin Wu showed her how to use the phone. He even showed how the trading function worked.

The Snake Lady was dumbfounded, so humans have come so far!

How come she didn't know?

Jin Wu smiled at the Snake Lady, saying "I already added my own number. Oh, by the way, what's going on with the Eclipse Forest?" The Snake Lady looked at him and asked, "Why?" Jin Wu waved, "Apparently things have been changing recently. We came here to find out the situation because many Cultivators were being attacked outside the forest. There was also Neon Animals from the Forest who went out, slaughtering Mortal Villages."

The Snake Lady sneered before explaining "Recently, the 3 Kings of the Eclipse Forest have been getting excited. They all want to be the sole ruler of the Forest, unfortunately they can't beat my mate. I guess they're trying to break through by consuming human flesh."

Jin Wu shook his head and clicked his tongue, "That's no good. This barbaric behavior is the reason why Demon Beasts are hunted. Not to mention… Let me give you some info, if they continue, the old farts might come and settle the forest. If you know what I mean."

The Snake Lady narrowed her eyes, "Is that so…" Jin Wu nodded and shrugged, "Anyway, it's your business. However, I think you don't have to be cramped in this forest all day. Especially since you're all custo-cultivators at any rate." he quickly covered up the slip-up, smiling "I have a proposition, if you want."

The Snake Lady looked at him dubiously, "Speak." Jin Wu opened his mouth but before he could speak, another head poked through the brush, this snake had a big scar over one eye but there were little horns on its head.

It looked at the Snake lady and a rough voice hissed, "Bailian, what's going on here? Is Lianhua finished playing?" before turning to Jin Wu and Mu Yu, frowning "Humans." Bailian looked at her mate, saying "Heidao, I was discussing with these humans." Heidao spat, "Bah! What's there to discuss with humans? None of them are a good thing!"

He glared at Jin Wu and Mu Yu, hissing "Scram for Lao Tzu!" Jin Wu frowned, "Hey! Can't you trust others a little, man?" Heidao snorted, "Last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye!" Mu Yu and Jin Wu paused and frowned in confusion, okay? Is your english name Nick Fury???

Heidao ignored them, looking at Bailian, "Come on." Bailian rolled her eyes, turning to Jin Wu, "Continue, human." Jin Wu looked at Heidao's stinky face, before continuing "Anyway, like I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted!" as he glared at Heidao, who exploded glaring back at Jin Wu.

Bailian hissed in amusement, looking at Heidao, who snorted. Jin Wu went on, "I think you should turn the Eclipse Forest into a City and focus on cultivating the right way. What you rely on now is simply an outdated road of devouring beasts to evolve. Not to mention inefficient, but how fucking long is this going to take?"

He rolled his eyes and explained, "You cultivate for a bajillion years and maybe you can become a Foundation Building Beast. Who the hell wants to be a Demon Beast? Nonsense! This method is so old and traditional, I would rather die than sit around for 10 trillion bajillion years doing nothing but staring at the sky in a daze."

Bailian rolled her eyes, "Is that your suggestion? Build a city… for Demon Beasts?" Jin Wu looked at her as though she was an idiot, "Are you slow? I thought snakes were smart." Bailian rolled her eyes again, who knows what the hell you're trying to say?!

Jin Wu explained fully, "I'm saying build a Human city with houses and shops, etc. Not a place with caves and Demon Beast things. You can cultivate Transformation Grass and transform into Human Forms, then you can open up the city to Human Cultivators."

Heidao burst out laughing, "What a funny guy! Make a city then invite Humans! Shashasha! Maybe I should grill myself first too? Shashashasha!" Bailian looked at Jin Wu strangely.

Jin Wu spread his hands, smiling "If you're strong enough, nobody is going to trouble you. Plus, I think a Demon Beast City is very unique. Why be hostile to Humans everyday of your life, worrying about being attacked and all that nonsense when you can cooperate. We're all living on the same land after all."

He smiled harmlessly, as though he was a friend to all life, however in his mind there was only one more thing he didn't say.
