61 God Beast’s Invasion (III)

"You little..." Jackson, the name of the pretty looking young man who was previously on the floor in the fetal position cupping his aching ballsack struggled to get up and snarled at Kylie.

"I'm going to destroy you, you bitch!" Jackson yelled angrily and was about to pounce on her.

Asher looked on happily at the new occurrence, he can become Kylie's hero and save her and she will definitely fall in love with me. He thought that it was a good way to keep a loyal subordinate.

Asher had a grin on his face as he was about to rescue the maiden in need, Jackson and Jason were both in the Sky Spirit Realm while Kylie was still in the Earth Spirit Realm but before he could, a dreadful and booming voice pierced through their ears making them halt.

"Jackson! Stop it." The voice coldly, but beautifully said.

Asher's grin dropped as he lightly gnashed his teeth, his plans got disrupted not once but twice...

The girl who yelled out to Jackson slowly descended from the air showing her above Sky Spirit Realm cultivation, Asher could tell she was much stronger than Evelyn, though she was older and an Academy Elder after all.

The Academy Elder was very beautiful, she had long black colored hair that contrasted perfectly with her icy blue colored eyes. She also had curves in all the right places. Asher couldn't help but stare until she turned her icy gaze toward him.

He felt a chill, most likely due to the massive difference in cultivation and her cultivation technique, but he still stared straight back, not shying away from the eye contact.

She eventually looked away and stared at Jackson and Jason, the brutish looking tall man.

"You are fighting amongst yourselves when you should be focused on God Beast's!" She said as an extreme chilliness laced her every word freezing Kylie, Jackson, and Jason.

"She-she started it," Jackson said as his teeth were chattering, he was yearning to ease the Elder's cold gaze away from him, he seemed especially terrified of her.

"Shut up! Quickly get up, you all better not cause any more problems, or punishment awaits." Elena, the Academy Elder yelled out.

"Ohh, do you hand out the punishments?"

Asher blinked in front of everyone, revealing his black-haired, pale and lean face, his sharp features and silvery-white colored eyes gave him a regal look.

They were stunned at his appearance, but Elder Elena was particularly stunned at his words.

"Yes?" She said cautiously.

Asher looked her up and down, now she was the one who had a chill shiver throughout her body.

"Perfect," Asher said, only he himself seemed to know that he was just playing around.

It was very quiet as the people in the surroundings were trying to process his words, why would he want to be punished? But before they could think any longer a loud shout came from above.

"The God Beasts are coming! Quickly split up amongst yourselves and save as many people as you can."

Asher inwardly rolled his eyes, they were all going to die when they boarded the Starship and left them anyways, only the powerful had the right to come with them.

Asher, Kylie, Jackson & Jason were assigned to defend the Royal Section of the God Domain City, they were currently standing in a Spirit Ark that carried them in the air and gave them a perfect birds-eye view of everything.

They were behaving like model citizens with Elena here, except for Asher who looked like he was witnessing a play.

Asher was surprised at the amount of God Beasts gathered, much more than what he saw last time, there were so many it looked like lines upon lines of indistinguishable figures.

There were also various species in the air he's never seen before, massive birds with arms, humanoid beast's that reached the sky, lions, and tigers with shining wings.

They were all perfectly in sync like they were awaiting orders, Asher couldn't help but admire their discipline, like actual war soldiers, but instead, they were a bunch of primitive beasts.

The air seemed to still and the various noises stopped, it was eerily quiet as the God Beast's easily maneuvered over the various traps laid outside the God Domain City.

Barriers quickly assembled to full power, array masters spent an uncountable amount of time and resources trying to make the perfect defensive arrays, sacrificing many Heaven Ranked Spirit Artifacts in the process.

There were millions of God Beasts awaiting outside the God Domain City's supposedly 'safe haven', the 'safe haven' was breached many times before, but they did have a reputation of successfully repelling the God Beasts each time which gave much hope.

The entire human population accounted to about a few million, it gets harder and harder to become fertile as cultivation increases, which also doubles in difficulty to those with powerful bloodlines, many thought Clark had a secret technique to birth children, but he denied all accusations and no one wanted to challenge him.

Most of the humans left in the God Domain had the strength to protect themselves.

Out of the few million people, only 500,000 resided in the God Domain City, and not all of those could fight, they were obviously vastly outnumbered by the God Beasts.

On the other hand, the God Beasts also split up in groups, The 6 God Realm Planet regions that connected and surrounded the God Domain had to protect themselves from the God Beasts that attacked them while the various academies and clans repel the beasts from the foundation that is the God Domain City, which was boldly established inside the territory of the God Beasts.

The various God Beast's stood outside without moving, but the primitive snarls could be heard all around and made everyone's fine hairs stand up to no end, they could imagine getting ripped to shreds once those beasts were released on them, they could only pray the new and improved barriers protect them for a little longer than usual.

BANG!

The thousands of massive birds with large muscled arms started bombarding the outer barrier of the God Domain City, there was an outer and inner barrier made with the use of arrays that surrounded the entire God Domain City.

The last God Beast invasion caused them to completely shatter and only a few years passed from then so the new barriers weren't entirely ideal. After the inner barrier gets shattered the only thing left is walls made up of various hard metal found in the only secret realm of the God Domain.

After the metal walls are broken through the only thing that awaits them is hell.

"NOW!" A loud shout reverberated through the atmosphere as thousands of Arrows lit with a strange flame and poison shot out into the crowd of God Beasts.

The attacks from the various archers barely made a dent to the massive force of the God Beasts, only killing the weaklings. Asher looked on shocked, how would they survive against all these beasts?

Were they the ones who actually repelled them? Or did the God Beasts not want to eradicate us, so they only killed some, then retreated so we could breed amongst ourselves and make a continuous supply of cultivation resources for them.

The only saving grace was the Origin Gods, they were the core of the protection and the reason why God Beast's didn't blindly charge in and enslave us.

Origin Gods were unique, no one knew how many were in the God Domain, but they could easily snap and those millions of God Beast's outside would instantly disintegrate, but the Higher ranked God Beasts would definitely not allow that to happen and a fight between Origin God ranks would only leave desolation in the area.

The Origin Gods couldn't fight anywhere else either, because the void outside of the God Domain was unreliable and would only result in getting torn by the unstable space.

If they all fought out against each other, the only outcome would be mutual destruction.
