Chapter 49

The meal was finally done. They have eaten with so much joy because everyone had their story to tell. She really enjoyed the food because of the joyful stories. She missed this kind of mealtime.

They looked like a happy family. They used to be like this, she, her mom and her father until her father betrayed her mother.

One of the painful moments of her life was when she witnessed her father leaving their home because of another woman.

One of the moments that she hated happened in her life. She couldn’t help but imagine every now and then, what if her father didn’t leave? Would her mom live a little longer? Would she be able to be with her a little bit longer? She felt that pain that she had been having for the longest time of her life. She knew that she was able to move on but she would never forget her mom. The fact that she passed away brought a kind of wound that couldn’t be healed easily by time.

She missed her so much. She had been so good to her.
