Carnivals: Claimed By The Deranged Alpha Prince [BL]

From fleeing for your safety and enrolling in a school filled with psychopaths… to being claimed by a deranged alpha prince? Yeah, you’re better off dead. • . • Jules’ life was picture perfect until his entire family got murdered all of a sudden, with him being the only survivor. A savior swooped In because he was still in immense danger, and that led to Jules taking on a new identity and becoming a completely different person overnight— and enrolling into Carnivals, a prestigious all-boys school for all supernatural beings. In Carnivals, monsters lurk the dark hallways and the strong preyed on the weak. You either become a predator or a prey… and from one look at Jules— a boy too pretty for his own good, with a slender and petite build, it was obvious that he was gonna be eaten alive by the predators. Here comes Blaze, a wolf who sends shivers down every predator’s spine in the school, an insanely hot Alpha who was as dangerous and deranged as the rumors claimed. He took one glance at Jules and decided there and then that Jules belonged to him. *** I inched backwards, eyes widening even more as my eyes zeroed in on the smirk tugging at the side of his lips. Blaze never smiled, and whenever he does, it never meant anything good. My heartbeat quickened as I scrambled backwards even more, breath stuttering to a stop as he began to narrow the distance between us. In no time, my back was plastered against the cold wall and that was when it hit me right in the chest that I was cornered and ensnared, like an actual prey… by none other than Blaze, when I had thought my life couldn’t get any worse. He towered over me effortlessly, emitting so much dominance and I had to tilt my head backwards for me to be able to meet his dark eyes, and my breath hitched when our eyes locked. He leaned down and my eyes snapped closed at once as I held my breath, waiting for him to strike. I’ve heard all the horrifying, endless rumors about him. He was an Alpha Prince whose presence someone like me should never be in. When I felt the tip of his cold nose glide over the length of my throat, my mouth fell open to release a startled gasp. He dragged in a long, audible breath and I felt a shiver rattle down my spine as I grew even stiffer, confusion clouding my mind. What was happening? Why was he doing this out of nowhere? Oh my gosh… he really was a deranged alpha like everyone says! *** THIS BOOK IS RATED 18+! It contains matured content such as: - Bullying. - Drug use. - Smut [a whole lot of it.] - Violence. - Harem [not between the main characters.] So… proceed with caution, you’ve been warned! *I don’t own the rights to the cover!

The Start Of Jules

Jules' pov

 During the entire helicopter ride, I spent it crying my eyes out.

In a single night, I had managed to lose my entire family, all at once.

I had managed to lose my Anya.

Anya was more than a sister to me. She was my best friend. We've been best friends as soon as I was born and have only grown closer as we both grew up.

I unconsciously reached out to her through the mind link, and on feeling nothing, I burst into a fresh wave of tears. I wasn't able to feel anything in my mind, not just because Anya was no more, but because my magic has also been locked away.

I had not only lost my entire family tonight. I had also lost huge part of me as well.

Now, I was more or less human, and that thought left a bitter taste in my mouth so sour that I retched a couple of times through my tears.

Throughout the hours I spent crying, my savior, Andrian, pretended to not be listening to me crying my lungs out, which I was grateful for.

After hours of crying, I ended up staring into nothing while every part of me grew numb.

I remained like that until the helicopter finally landed.

Andrian helped me off the helicopter, he was so careful around me and gave me more than enough space, which I was really grateful about.

We were led into a car and I remained at the far end of the limousine, mind reeling over and over again.

Andrian had informed me that this was New York and I had nodded at him in response because I had nothing else to say.

I have a lot of unanswered questions, but there was no one to answer them. I had still been skeptical to fully trust Andrian. After what had happened at the ballroom, which had clearly been orchestrated by someone father trusted, I knew I'd have to be extra careful now.

Andrian hadn't felt insulted and had easily revealed a bunch of pictures to me of him and my mother, since when they were kids, and then them growing up together. As I flipped through the pictures, I wondered why mother never told us about him, but I shoved that thought aside because thinking about right now brought a fresh wave of tears to my eyes.

After seeing proof that he and my mother had been friends for a long while, I handed the pictures back to him and found myself relaxing even more around him.

"Do you have an idea of who could have been behind it?" Andrian asked and I shook my head slowly. The person whom I had realized had been in one it, had been killed off by Andrian's men. And I didn't even know the man's name or anything about him to begin with.

"Not at all." I whispered, eyes unfocused as I stared straight ahead.

"The people who attacked your family wanted to wipe out the entire magic clan, which was why they chose last night to strike, knowing that everyone would be gathered there together." Andrian explained and I felt pain prickle the inside of my chest as tears welled up in my eyes.

"They had doused a potion on those arrows, which made it possible for it to kill anyone with magic within them unfailingly. Cause, on a normal day, a normal arrow wouldn't have anything on magical beings. There was also something in the air that night in the ballroom, that prevented people from casting spells. It was odorless but one of my men who majored in that field picked it out with the help of a portion." Andrian continued and it began to make more sense as to how they had been able to easily take down everyone.

"Although, mother had been able to teleport us out of the ballroom…" I whispered slowly as I let out a small breath.

Andriana let out a small snort. "That isn't surprising. Your mother had been a very powerful witch since her birth. Only high level witches are able to cast spells in a situation like that." He explained and I bit on my bottom lip, mind clouding with pain as it dawned on me that she could have easily saved herself but she chose to use the last of her strength to save me and lock up my magic.

"What happened to your magic though? If you don't mind me asking." Andrian inquired. "I need to know everything I can on moving forward so I'd be able to keep you safe."

I swallowed emptily and my hand automatically moved to the middle of my chest where my magic once used to sit. Now, it felt like an empty hole.

"M- my mother took the last of my siblings' and father's magic which was yet to dissolve into thin air. She combined it into my magic… and then she sealed it up inside of me." I whispered hoarsely while staring at my fingers.

"Oh, wow. I didn't know she could do that just yet." Andriana marveled and I shrugged.

"So now… you're magicless." He stated and I let out a humorless chuckle.

"You can just say that I'm not an ordinary human." I spat bitterly.

"I'm sorry a huge part of you had to be locked up." He continued and I shrugged once again.

"Mother said it was for my safety." I whispered slowly and he hummed.

"She wasn't wrong. If your magic was still unlocked, we'd have been followed here with a tracker. At least this way, you're basically untraceable with your magic's scent, which is a good thing."

"It is?" I asked as I glanced up at Andrian. He sat up and flicked a MacBook open as he nodded.

"Yup. You know, now, you're technically on the run for your life. I don't know if you've connected the dots yet, but those people who were behind the massacre last night, were there last night to kill everyone else and to take you along with them." Andrian explained and I blinked at him in confusion.

"Take me with them? Why?"

"Because of the prophesy, of course."

I sat up straighter as a wave of shock coursed through my veins. "A- a prophesy?" I whispered in shock. Andrian stared at me for a moment before realizing that I was completely clueless about that topic.

"Oh, you're unaware. I just assumed your mother had revealed it to you. But, since she hasn't, I think it's best I don't burden you with anything more for now."

I suddenly began to feel lightheaded. "I- is it something bad?" I whispered. Andrian's lips thinned and he slowly shook his head.

"It depends on how you look at it, but it's best you don't worry about that just yet. There are more important things to worry about, like the fact that your name and picture has been uploaded in your country as a wanted criminal."

"What?!"

~~~
 Everyone were currently searching for me in my country. It had been stated in the news that I had been behind the murder of my family and every other person present at the ball last night. Reading the article made me sick to my stomach, and I realized that Andrian had been right, I really had more important things to worry about.
Like the fact that it was clear that everyone were currently searching for me and wouldn't be stopping until I've been found.
Andrian worked quickly. He sourced for somewhere I could hide away in, somewhere people wouldn't suspect, and he ended up deciding on a school amongst a bunch of choices.
Carnivals.
It was an all boys school for every supernatural being out there. It was a popular school for the rich and powerful. A quick search online revealed that it was literally every boy's dream school here in New York, but only a few people are lucky enough to get accepted into the school yearly.
It was clear that I'd be unable to get into a school like this, especially on such a short notice. Andrian had reassured me that he had his ways and would be able to pull some strings. He had explained that it's best I stay hidden in a place like that, because the people searching for me would expect for me to be hidden in an underground place, and not in somewhere that's right under their noses.
~~~

 I cried throughout the night.

On waking up, Andrian had a new ID card waiting for me and a long report of background story for me.

Jules McCarthy. The ID card read.

My new identity.

He also handed me a pack of dye and suggested I dye my bright blonde hair. Hours later, my blonde hair was replaced with pitch black hair.

He handed me a pair of contacts lens. Coffee brown. To hide my bright blue eyes.

We drove over to the school after a few hours. How Andrian had been able to quickly secure a spot for me in the school still had me wowed. Apparently, he had claimed I was a werewolf whose wolf side was still dormant. That still technically made me a supernatural being, and in no time, I was signing a bunch of paperwork with Andrian and being welcomed to the school by the principal in charge.

"Your dorm will get stocked tonight with all your necessities. It's gonna be alright, okay?" Andrian had reassured me once we were alone and I had thanked him profusely once again, because if it wasn't for him, I would surely be lost right now.

As I watched Andrian leave, my stomach knotted tightly from nervousness.

I was now a student of Carnivals, and my name was Jules.

Jules McCarthy.
