Jules' pov
The question rang in my ear over and over again as color instantly flooded my cheeks.
This was a conversation that I remember having with my mother once, and it had felt this mortifying back then.
He shot me a glance for a moment but had to glance back at the road again.
I let out a small breath and peered at my fingers, cheeks on fire.
"I can't." I mumbled, voice pitched ridiculously high. When Blaze glanced at me, the mortifying feeling increased, and I felt like I still needed to say something.
"I'm serious! M- my mother had me tested and, and I don't have a- a womb, so I don't get things girls do, like a monthly cycle, so I can't get pregnant."
