The figures zipped through the skies, like little dots in the distance with each passing second they grew larger grabbing the attention of the crowds throughout the colosseum.
The figures grew clearer to reveal ships no larger than a carriage, sailing through the sky a dozen snow-white pegasi, winged horses, pulling the sky boats to the cardinal statues standing at each of the four cardinal directions of the colosseum.
Each of the statues were designed in the image of one of the four battle and warrior gods to whom the people of Mercurion paid homage and honoured in their prayers.
There was Enyo of the Olympian 11, Eris of the first-generation gods, Marcia of the 7 battle maidens, and Tyr of the ascended gods.
