One He's Supposed To Protect
The fierce and disordered battlefield halted for a second as if someone had hit the pause button. Then an even greater uproar descended.
"Fuck, it's the police!"
"Nobody told me that the police are going to get involved!"
"Well, they didn't tell us that we're here to fight this monster either!"
"Fuck this, I quit! I'd rather throw that blank check away than risk my life! I should have known something was shady from the start!"
In a blink of an eye, the scene turned into pure chaos as everyone scrambled away like headless flies. Some pushed their way to the emergency stairs, while others sprinted toward the skywalk, intending to escape as far away as possible from the police. The officers struggled to restrain them since they were not allowed to use guns on civilians.
"Don't move!"
"Hey, where do you think you're going, son of a bitch?!"
"Get back here!"
