"General Aric Tarkus," Hiro taunted with an ironic smirk, "Don't worry, General, it's just me. I come in peace... Well, maybe not peace, but I'm here for a chat."
Hiro's voice drew the immediate attention of the Arcadian troops, who all turned in unison to face the source of the taunt. The general, Aric Tarkus, bore a contorted expression, a mixture of rage and utter bewilderment.
"Hiro Banks," General Aric Tarkus growled, taking two deliberate steps forward before abruptly halting.
His gaze bore into Hiro, and with a cold, determined tone, he continued, "You've caused me a lot of men in a single operation. Surrender now, and let's end this. No one else needs to die tonight."
All at once, the remaining Arcadian soldiers, numbering around ten, raised their weapons, aiming them squarely at Hiro.
