Toss coin part 2

Nikki's eyes widened in disbelief, and her mouth dropped open wide. She couldn't believe what she had just heard.

She almost dropped the coffee in her hand as she caught sight of the enormous diamond sitting inside the blue box her long-time boyfriend was holding out to her.

The people outside her office were all holding their breaths. She should have pulled the blinds earlier when she first saw her boyfriend walking in.

But she never thought that this was what he had in mind.

It was out of the blue. She never had a clue about it. Even when Jacob had already dropped to one knee, Nikki was not aware of what was happening.

Until it happened. Until he blurted out those words, which he just said.

"Will you marry me?"

The answer was quite obvious, and yet Nikki found herself at a loss for words. Biting her lower lip, she slowly murmured a tiny yes.

"Can you say it louder?" Jacob pleaded.

Nikki let out a nervous laugh.
