"You've finally met Jake."

Anna helped herself not to spit it in front of Nikki how she hated the guy for a few minutes before he cleared out his motives.

"You never told me about him and apparently, you never mentioned me to him either. If I was everyone else, I'd be hurt. Just a teeny tiny bit."

A pillow came sailing through Anna's face. However, she didn't mind. She was able to catch the piece of soft fabric before it could even do some harm on her face.

"I saw no reason to do so unless you two were interested. You for one have been hiding yourself. So, I thought introducing or at least saying anything about you to Jake would expose you. Hence, I kept you from him. The vice versa? Would you even be interested if I said anything?"

In her honest opinion? Her answer was a definite no. She wouldn't be interested. Not even a little.
