259 Meeting Stephanie

Grand was pledging his newfound camaraderie with his older brother when one of Nana's nurses announced that she had a visitor. 

"Who is it?" Nana asked.

The nurse twisted her body sideways and Stephanie came into view. 

"Stephie," Grand stood up from his chair and welcomed his future sister-in-law. 

She and Grand exchanged a casual hug, and he led her to the chair he just vacated. 

"I see that you are looking much better now, Nana," she smiled and put down a small pot of pink orchid on Nana's bedside table. 

"Stephanie," she reached for her hand, "You don't have to come today. You were just in the hospital." 

"I want to see you. And also, I heard Grand is coming," she chuckled and glanced at Grand that sat down on the foot of Nana's queen size bed. 

"But you also have to rest. You have been attending parties left and right and at the same time, spending time with me."
