Chapter 20: A Desperate Plea

In the confines of her room, Nikki had barricaded herself, consumed by fear and uncertainty over what Alexander might do once he awoke. Days passed in agonizing silence, each moment weighed down by the heavy burden of apprehension.

Then, finally, Alexander stirred from his slumber, his mind immediately fixating on one name: Nikki. With a sense of urgency, he called for his bodyguards, demanding that they bring her to him.
