"Sister Isabel, why didn't you want me?"
That question had been buried in his heart since last night, when Isabel told him that she was his mother. He was still a child, unable to hold a deep grudge, nor to let go quickly. Thus, it took him a whole year to finally ask.
"Mom never didn't want you..." Isabel cried like a fountain of tears, her eyes red and swollen as she looked into Raymond's eyes and said, "Mom never didn't want you, I've been looking for you all this time. After I gave birth to you, you were taken away by bad people. Mom has spent all these years searching for you... You're so cute and sensible, how could mom ever bear not to want you?"
A sense of slow injustice melted in Raymond's heart when he heard that Isabel had been looking for him all this time, but he still pouted and asked, "Really?"
Isabel nodded vigorously.
