3 Day 1-Wedding Part 2

Sitting across from him was nerve wrecking. This scene was exactly like the movies she had watched, where a police officer is interrogating a criminal, except ancient version. Feng Meng Hao was definitely the character that would flip every table in the interrogation room if you spoke one wrong word. Just thinking about this, Li Su Ming gulped.

"Feng Meng Hao, could you not stare at me with those eyes?" She finally managed to speak a strong complaint.

"Speak." He ignored her request.

Li Su Ming looked down to avoid his killer gaze. "I really didn't plan on marrying you. It was just that my sister Fei Fei met with an accident last night."

"Fei Fei had an accident? Why didn't you tell me?" She could hear the worry in his voice.

"She fell into the water and has been unconscious since last night."

Feng Meng Hao suddenly pounded his fist onto the table, scaring Su Ming. "Li Su Ming, how could you be so cruel as to hurt your sister just to marry me." He accused.

Hearing the unjust, she looked up. This time her eyes full of anger. "Feng Meng Hao, in what eye of yours saw that I harmed my sister. Do you think I am that evil? I am not evil like in those crazy dramas." She got up and slammed both her hands on the table.

He ignored her strange words.

Instead she got a sarcastic sneer from him. "Li Su Ming, everyone in this city knows what you did. In order to marry me, you had tried to hang yourself. When I refused to marry you, you used this cheap trick to hurt Fei Fei and become my wife. How shameless!" He sneered at her once more.

"Feng Meng Hao! You are too much!" This time she clenched her hands into tight fists. She had enough of his insults.

He looked at her fists and then back to her face. "Angry are you now?" He asked sarcastically. "Shouldn't I be the one to be angry. After all, I was the one that just got cheated."

"Fine! You win!" She surrendered. "What would it take for you to believe that I'm telling the truth."

He crossed his arms. "There's nothing you can do to convince me you didn't harm Fei Fei. I'm going to find the evidence and put you in prison."

"You jerk!" She internally screamed at him. She pat her heart trying to calm it down. He had really scared her just now. Prison in ancient time was really too scary. All those dramas she had seen, she felt chills. She had to change her approach.

"Will you believe me if I divorce you after 3 months?"

He arched his brow. "Go on…"

"After 3 months, I will sign the divorce paper and you can marry Fei Fei. I won't stop you." She put her hand up. "I promise."

She would have divorced him right after Fei Fei woke up but who knew her mother would talk the empress into decreeing that Feng Meng Hao can't marry a concubine until 3 months has passed since his marriage. Her mother was afraid the two sisters might have a fall out due to Feng Meng Hao.

Being the nice person that she was, she would fight all the woman who dare to go after Feng Meng Hao during this time. That is until Fei Fei married him. Thinking about her nice deed, she really wished this blockhead knew her intentions.

But staring at him, she knew he wasn't convinced. "I'll write this down on paper. We'll sign a contract." Without allowing him to speak, she quickly went to the desk and found paper and ink.

Feng Meng Hao watched her from a far as she continued to write. Finally she came back with two pieces of paper. "Here!" She slammed it in front of him. "That's my signature. If I go against what I say today, you can sue me."

"Sue you? What does that mean?" He asked.

She sighed. "It means if I go against the contract, you can fine me a large amount of money."

Once again he glared at her. "What nonsense are you speaking? I am General Feng, when have I ever been short on money?" She had forgotten he was filthy rich. This wasn't like her life in the 20th century. She thought for a moment. "If I go against my words, you can punish me however you like." She tried to negotiate.

He finally agreed.

"Good! Let's shake hands now that we've gotten this settled." She reached her hand out "I forgot…" She thought. She quickly pretended to fan him with her hand. "You look hot, why don't I fan you." She once again put on her fake smile.

"Are you done with your act?" He stared.

"Yes!" She smiled. "Now that this is over, you can leave. I'm tired." She gave him a slight bow before heading over to the bed. When she turned around, he was still there. "Why haven't you left?" She asked confused.

"Where would I go? This is my room."

The realization just came to her. This was indeed his room. He walked over to the bed and she quickly stood up. "What are you doing?" She pointed her finger at him. He stared at her before sitting down. "It's been a long day, I also need to sleep."

"You can't sleep here!"

"Where am I supposed to go then? Even though we've already agreed on this so called contract, I can't leave. There's too many people outside. What if the emperor finds out I left the bride?"

Li Su Ming quickly ran to the window and opened it. It was empty. "Quick, now is your chance. No one is here. Make your great escape." She urged him.

Feng Meng Hao couldn't believe his ears. She was actually trying to chase him out like a dog. "Li Su Ming! I am not someone you can just order around. If you are done messing around, come to bed. I won't do anything to you even if you were the last woman on this earth."

At the end of the night, she lost. Li Su Ming lay next to Feng Meng Hao as she glared at him. She was after all a woman, how could he insult her like that. "Are you done staring at me? Are you trying to burn a whole in my face?"

"Good! I hope it does." She murmured a curse before turning away.
