THE NEXT MORNING DAWNS EASILY ENOUGH, a scarlet sunrise with a touch of lilac in it's blueness. Casselba is quick to make her way into the kitchen but all she can cook up is some eggs before Caden saunters in and takes over.
"You really need to let me do something around the house," Casselba says as he leads her away from the gas stove. "I can cook too you know?"
"Really?" Caden beams at her and she smacks his arm. "You're already doing enough," he adds.
"Besides, aren't you a queen now?" another voice echoes into the room.
Casselba's eyes turn to hook on Ryan who is just walking into the kitchen area. His hair is still a bit ruffled from sleep as he walks close. It's a warm shade of gold that glints like burnt amber in the bright aura of sunrise spilling in through the glass wall by the side of the kitchen.
