On that particular day, I was informed that Duke Ashford from the Bethoviel Empire would come in secret. Only my uncle, Duke Echetier, and I knew about this. "Your highness, that person has arrived and is waiting at your office." My uncle informed me.
"Alright." I stood from my throne and walked to my office.
Honestly speaking, I didn't know the reason for Duke Ashford's visit. It's been more than a year since his last visit. Usually, the one who came was his son, Rowan Ashford, when he had something to discuss with my uncle regarding their secret contract.
In short, my family, the Echetier family, had a secret relationship with the Ashford family from the Bethoviel Empire. They provided us with stone steels, a strong material for weapons. Stone steel was something that was only found at Bethoviel and forbidden to be traded. With those supplies, I managed to raise the throne after eliminating my brothers.
