Can You Trust Me?

"Urgghhh…" Francis suddenly fell on his knees and vomiting blood. His face turned really pale and he look so weak. I, who had just entered his office, hurriedly took a handkerchief and approached him. "What happened? This is not your first time vomiting blood!" I asked, pretending to panic. I knew the reason why he was in this state, it was because I poisoned him. "Cough… cough…" he coughed as he was vomiting blood. "I'm fine. As you said this is not my first time vomiting blood so I can handle it." He said after he stopped vomiting blood. "But I guess you have to stop pretending." He paused and moved his body closer to me. "Charlize," he whispered right to my ears. He still looked so weak due to the poison but he seemed like already used to it. "I know it is you who make me in this state." ------------- Hi everyone!!!  Thank you for supporting me this far, and sorry for not continuing this work. Somehow I lost my pace and mood regarding this work, so I just can't continue. This story actually ended with Francis and Olivia living happily ever after as the crown prince and princess, with their supporter still working with them. Once again, I'm sorry about this, and thank you for your support. I will be back with a new and fresh story see you

The Regret (Rowan POV)

When I was around twelve years old, I found a little girl inside my family library, reading a book peacefully. I didn't know who she was or what she was doing there. The only thing I knew was she was interesting to me.

That girl was like a harmless innocent hamster among the beasts in this house. On the day I found her, even though I wasn't confident enough to approach her, I could find peace from her presence. Only being with her in the library, even though I was hiding to avoid her, I could rest my mind from the hectic life as an Ashford.

I knew that my family wasn't a good one. From history class I learned how Ashford gained their power and glory. I also learned from my father how he managed our family. I learned how the Ashford family sacrificed people to get what we wanted.
