"YOU'RE LETTING HER STAY HERE?" Micheal asked seething, the anger was evident in his face and tone. " What the fuck man, I thought you were smarter than this?"

"It's not like that, she needs help and I offered mine" I hate when we argue. And all our latest arguments have been caused by Veronica.

She came home with me three days ago, from the event Imaani and I went to.

We've not had time to talk much due to the fact I'm trying to make her feel comfortable and open up to me when she is ready.

I guess that might be happening today with Micheal present as well. The only reason she's even staying here is that Imaani offered. She said since we know each other and my place was spacious it won't be nice for Veronica to go to a motel.

"Does Imaani know about this?" Micheal asked, his tone much calmer

"Yeah, she was the one who offered."
