EMMI'S POV

I woke up and saw 10 missed calls from Kwan , 14 from The8 and 20 from Jeonghan. What's the matter why they all called me so many times?

I was already late so I decided to talk to them once I arrived at college. I got ready and as usual Jeonghan came to pick me up. When I climbed in the passenger seat Kwan screamed," yah girl why didn't you tell us about your boyfriend?"

I was shocked ," Boyfriend? Whose ?"

Jeonghan smirked and said," Don't pretend to be clueless Emmi, we know about you and DK ?"

Me and DK, what about us?

I asked," What are you talking about? I have no clue."

The8 showed me his phone. There was a post from DK claiming that he likes me hence he fought with Mingyu because Mingyu was trying to hit on me.

What is this nonsense?

I laughed," This is all a lie. I don't even know DK. I only talked to him last day because he saved me from Mingyu and nothing else and I also don't know about this post."

Kwan questioned again," It means you don't like him and you guys aren't together?"

I shaked my head ," No I don't like him and we are not together."

He spoke again," Good good ."

We laughed it up and then reached. As we were going to class everyone was glancing at me like they wanted to kill me. The8 put a cap on me to ignore them. As we reached our class DK and Hoshi were standing outside.

DK spoke," Hieee Emmi, how are you ?"

I replied," Yeah I am okay but before anything I have to ask you something?"

DK smiled," I know it's about the post and I am serious about it. I like you. You are pretty unique from everyone that dragged my attention to you. I have been observing you since you joined this place. So what do you think you want to do ?"

I am shaken. I mean that. No one ever asked me to go out. I was going to speak when someone interrupted. When we looked at him I noticed he was from Mingyu's gang. He said," DK why do you always try to claim other things. Aren't you tired?"

DK was angry. He said," Emmi is a person and not a thing and I like her and confessed to her and not like some coward who will hide from his feelings. And don't you have any job Wonwoo other than being someone else's mouth."

This thing is getting serious. I tried to slowly escape when a guy came before me. He smiled at me and said," Hi Emmi, I'm Joshua and can we talk please? It's really important."

I nodded and he looked sincere.

He then took me to a rooftop. And then said," I have been Mingyu's friend since highschool and he is like my younger brother. I know he did some terrible things to you but he is already guilty and can't forgive himself. Can you please talk to him ?"

I looked at him dazed. So this is all about him. I spoke slowly," I can't face him. He destroyed me beyond repair. I can't forget those dreadful things he did. I can't." I trailed off but then he interrupted me," Please Emmi I assure you he won't do anything to you and if does I will protect you no matter what. So please just talk to him once."

I looked at his eyes. I know mouths lie but eyes don't and he looked pretty sincere and I nodded.

He smiled and said," Thank you Emmi, thank you so much. Then tomorrow at this time I will bring him here to talk to you."

I spoke then," Can I bring a friend just in case I am still terrified of him ?"

Joshua nodded," Yeah sure sure no problem and once again thank you for agreeing."

I smiled back and then went down. Everyone left except DK, Jeonghan and Wonwoo. When we reached Wonwoo and Joshua went their way and DK spoke," So do you want to give me a chance ?"

I smiled ," I will think about it."

DK smiled and left the place. Jeonghan looked at me wanting to know what we talked about.

" Jeonghan, I need your help."

He smirked and asked," I will help you but tell me what happened "

I told him everything I and Joshua talked about. He smiled and said," I will be with you the entire time but if that Mingyu guy does or says something to hurt you I will break his handsome face."

I laughed and then joined others. I am now waiting for tomorrow. I am scared as hell but I want to end this nightmare once and for all.
