Chapter 18

I have a headache, and I feel so limp. I have a lot of trouble thinking clearly, however, I still open my eyes as I straighten up, vaguely thinking of going to work. Looking around me, I realize that I don't recognize the room, it is very large and bright thanks to the huge bay window. One thing is certain, I am not in my apartment.

I lower my head, a little lost realizing that the t-shirt I'm wearing isn't mine. Moreover, it is that of a man. Frowning, I sniff her scent, bringing all my memories to the surface in one fell swoop. Vampires, werewolves, my stepdad and the pileup swirl in my brain, flooding my veins with adrenaline.

I jump up on the bed ready to fight. However, the place is deserted.

Heart pounding, I listen. I don't hear anything, but I still have a funny feeling at the edge of my brain that haunts me. Shaking my head to dismiss it, I continue to detail the room to understand where I am.
