9 chapter 9

Some days pass and Leo is the new CEO of the company but every minute, a woman literally throws herself at him. Jennifer wants to throw up every time something like that happens.

Leo consoles her every time something like that happens and moreover, she doesn't know why she feels hurt whenever she sees him with other women. She wants to tie him up in their bedroom and never let him go...

One day, she got an edible letter from her chief. The letter contained the name of the businessman she had to kill. She reads the name and the company and eats the letter quickly.

She goes to her husband's study and searches his file for that company. After a long time, she gets that file. She is about to open it and read it when she hears a sound of someone clearing their throat.

She turns around and sees her father-in-law with a serious expression on his face. She feels embarrassed that he caught him red-handed. He walks towards her and takes that file, reading it. After reading the file, he takes a paper and a pen and wrote:

'What were you doing here?'

'Nothing. It's just that I completed my studies and I also wanted to look after our business. I know that this is wrong but I don't want to eat free meals just because I am the daughter-in-law of this house. I also want to work.'

After reading what she wrote, he smiles and nods, indicating that he understood what she meant and caresses her head in a fatherly way. She basks in this warmth. Only one person could make her feel this way, her chief and now, this man... She sees a fatherly figure in him and hugged him tightly, even crying rivers of tears.

He keeps on caressing her hair and back soothingly. He is proud that his son chose such a good wife. He releases her when she is okay and escorts her to her and his son's bedroom, before making her lay down and eventually, her breathing evens, confirming that she is asleep.

He goes down and waits for his son's arrival and when he comes, he announces his decision, "Son, I have decided to change your secretary."

"Who will be my new secretary dad?"

"Jennifer D'Souza."

After hearing her name, he smiles brightly and nods. He always want to be with her and this is his chance... He goes to his room and sees his wife sleeping on the bed. He goes over there and pecks her forehead, caressing her hair lovingly.

After she wakes up, he inform her about his decision. She is happy that she can now easily kill that person and smiles brightly. Seeing her smile, he feels thousands of butterflies in his stomach and he also smiles brightly...
