3 Surprise or Surprised?

After leaving Xi Xiaye at her compartment they, continue on their way to Platinum Palace Residence.

Platinum Place Residence is one of the most expensive and most sought after residential area in the country. It is a neighbourhood where the upper class of N City lives so it's, security was even tighter than any other residential area. In fact, some of the property owners had private security that was even better.

According to the driver, it would take us forty minutes or one hour depending on the traffic on the main road of the city to reach home.

After one hour the car turned to the left into the neighbourhood. Lu Wei Wei was still absorbed in her thoughts for a moment before she paid attention to where they were.

They arrived at Platinum Palace residence no. 4 which most impressive mansion where Lu Zijian is living.

As they entered a bunch of servants greeted them there and both of us were led to the living room.

A pair of elders greeted them inside the living room. One can surely tell by a glance at their moist eyes and wide smile how happy they are seeing someone familiar in their eyes.

"Welcome Back, now come here to grandma, you silly girl, " Fu Ning said with a smile.

Lu Wei Wei grinned seeing both elders.

"Grandma" She called back and ran toward her for a hug.

"Oh my goodness. You're finally back! you silly boy, forgetting about us while you were there girl,' see how skinny you have become. " She complained as she returned her hug.

All the year she has been away she really missed her both super cool grandparents. Grandpa Xia Jin and Grandma Fu Ning are my grandparents from my mother's side. Grandma always took care of me and my both brothers when our mother has left for meetings. Grandma has always been caring and warm together us while Grandpa is my partner in crime, he is strict in front of everyone while he always save us from punishments. Not to mention he has always been my best buddy. And I am really thankful for their love, care and everything they have done.

Lu Wei Wei let go of the hug and gave her an endearing smile. "What are you talking about grandma I am not skinny. And I can never forget about you."

Grandma Fu smiled and hugged her again this time even tighter " You never even called us when you returned, how could you?"

"Sorry Grandma I just want to give you guys a surprise but who would have thought Big Brother will spoil it and give me a surprise. But still, you don't have to worry I will make it up to you" Lu Wei Wei replied as she patted her back.

Feeling excited Grandma Fu immediately let go and clung on her arms, just like how she used to cling on her arm before.

" Grandpa I'm home," She said noticing the other elder and immediately ran toward him.

Head Butler who was behind him gave a smile to the elder. He wants to tell Master Xia that what he said was true. Let it be Lu Zilong or Lu Wei Wei none of his grandchildren will ever forget about him.

"Lu Wei Wei welcome back," Grandpa Xia said with a wide smile. Grandma Fu shorted at his expression. He is such a fool for his grandchildren.

" I missed you Grandpa," Lu Wei Wei said as she hugged him.

After a while, both of them parted which Grandpa Xia took as an opportunity to inquire "You did?"

Every servant were present at that time, as they need to welcome their second young master. They saw everything and was surprised by all the expressions their master Xia has showed. They can't believe he was such a gentle grandfather towards his grandson who left him.

Lu Wei Wei smiled as she looked at her grandpa who was hiding a smile "Of course, why won't I miss my adorable grandpa?"

He nodded his head as he understood what she meant. Lu Wei Wei stood back straight and gave him another wave of the smile.

'Such a cutie. She thought and laughed.'

"Have you eaten?" he asked after a while.

"Hmm, not yet"

He looked at him worriedly and without delay called out Head Butler. "Rong, please tell the kitchen staff to prepare her favourite"

"Yes, Master" he replied in a hurry and left to the kitchen.

When Head Butler left, she remembered something really important. She immediately took notice of her big brother standing behind her. She smiled as she walked closer towards him.

"Ah, big brother...its been a while. Have you got any leads about mother's whereabouts?" Lu Wei Wei asked as her voice turned somehow sad and Lu Zijian felt it. 

Silence fell on everyone around as they can't understand how to give her an answer.

Lu Zijian looked at her worriedly " We still doesn't have any major clue about her but we are still trying and hopefully we will soon find it"

The flow of the conversation somehow made everyone sad.

She looked at Lu Zijian and gave him a little smile " I am sure we will find her soon. But for now, let's go and eat something otherwise I will die from hunger."

Everyone chuckled and started walking towards the kitchen with Lu Wei Wei.

They have to admit that they were so happy to see their grandson and granddaughter that ever since Lu Zijian gave them a call about Lu Wei Wei's return, Grandpa Xia and Grandma Fu made all the preparation needed, including the decoration of mansion with her favourite flowers.

It's been three years since they last saw Lu Zilong and Lu Wei Wei. It was a horrible experience something they never want to remember. That's why this time they try there best to make sure that something like that will never happen again.

Even though they are really happy to see Lu Wei Wei back but they still miss their only daughter and Lu Zilong and hope that they will also return soon.
