"Liam is such a well-behaved son, he doesn't cry much and only sleeps when his full. So I have a lot of time to myself " Camilla told Chris.

"I know but then what about you, do you mean you fully healed? Having free time doesn't mean you go back to work, Camilla. You should rest more until we are sure you're fine" he said.

She sighed "but am all better now. It's been months and all my wounds have closed up and I don't feel pain anymore. The doctor said I can go back to work now, please love let me go "

He shook his head in denial, "am not fully convinced yet that you are fully okay so you need to wait more days till am sure " he said.

She sat down and watched him avoid her gaze. Camilla smiled, "something else is bothering you?" she said.

"Isn't Liam up yet, let's go see him " Chris instantly said but Camilla grabbed his hand pulling him closer.

"Liam is not yet up the maid would have brought him by now if he was and stop avoiding my question you're making it more obvious," she said. "now look at me and tell me what's wrong "

"Am just worried that something bad will happen if you step out of this house again " he said.

Camilla felt her heart pull on something painful, she knew how he felt. Chris had been having nightmares of her attack every night and Camilla would wake up and hold him so he would stop crying or stop his nightmare. After she made him talk about how he felt about all that happened his bad dreams went away.

But it seems the trauma was still there, he was still afraid of seeing her leave in case something would happen.

His mother and her minions had all been caught so there was no need of being worried but Chris felt like he could not trust anyone with her life anymore. And now that she was a mother, he was crazier than before.

"Love, you know nothing wrong will happen if I do step out of the house. You need to let go of the past like we said and move on to our bright future, okay?"

He stared into her sparkling eyes and smiled, "okay, but you still need to listen to what I say when you leave the house " he said.

"Alright captain " she giggled.

Camilla the next woke up early to get ready to report to work. She had told her staff about her return and they were all overjoyed about it. Announcing it on their media, the restaurant was soon fully booked for the night since the famous Chef Camilla was going to return.

"Is Liam ready?" Camilla asked Chris when she walked into his room.

Chris nodded as he picked up his son who was giggling.

"Your attire is a match, oh so cute " Camilla laughed after she noticed the father and son outfit. He had even combed his little hair like his.

Camilla packed his baby bag and they left with her husband driving.

"Have you read the news, everyone is talking about you. It's like they were waiting for your return " Chris said.

"Yeah I did, we might have to work late today at the restaurant since we have more clients than ever " she smiled.

"Don't worry I know you will do your best, have you packed some milk for Liam?" he asked.

She nodded, "Yeah since I will be busy I don't know when I will have time to breastfeed him. So I bought some in case he hungry and am busy "

They arrived at the restaurant and Camilla froze seeing the number of reports and supports outside her restaurant.

"This is crazy, I have never seen so many of them "

"They are not that many compared to how they were at the hospital " Chris added.

A car that had been following them parked and men in black suits stepped out. The spectators all fell silent and watched as Chris's car was surrounded.

"And they are?" Camilla asked her husband.

"Your bodyguards, mom might be gone but you are still a celebrity and need to be protected. They might be your fans but anything can happen if you are not careful" he said.

"I understand " she hugged him, "thanks love "

Chris smiled and motioned her to leave. But Camilla turned to Liam in the back.

"Don't worry about him, I never intended for him to be with you today. We want you to be fully concentrated on your work so I and Liam will be spending the day together " he said.

"Ahhh....but he might give you a hard time at work," she said.

"Don't worry about that and we both know a better at taking care of him than you. So he won't give me a head time "

Camilla laughed, "well that's true...am amazed sometimes how good you are at it. Thanks love I appreciate it " she kissed his cheek.

"Now go show them that you're back " he whispered in her head before he placed his kiss on her forehead.

She nodded and turned to her son sending flying kisses to him. "Wish mom all the best my angel, love you, and don't give Daddy a hard time at work," she said before stepping out.

The guards protected her so well that the reports failed at taking her pictures. When they turned to question Chris in the car, he had already vanished.
