Chapter 10: The dinner 2

The party hall was filled with people. People from all walks of life. The economy and first class were all here. Everyone was looking forward to the young CEO that was on his way.

While everyone was waiting, a commotion was heard at the entrance. A lady, clad in an aqua blue gown walked in. The eyes of so many followed her and she seemed to enjoy it. She was fkanked by two other ladies who seemed to be telling her what made her smile.

"Who's that?", one of the guests asked the other.

" You don't know? "

The other shook her head.

The one being questioned sighed in admiration. " Have you ever heard of the CF? "

The other guest's eyes nearly popped out.

"What?"

"She's the CEO of the Chain foundation".

The other guest was so awed she even forgot to breathe.

"At such a young age..."

"Is she that good?", a voice that was both crisp and arrogant came from the back.

Some of the guests turned to look. It was a girl that was about 18 years old. She looked a bit carefree but was quite sharp and wise.

"Who're you to say that girl?", one of the guest that was a guy stepped forward and asked. He was a handsome lad and was quite eye-catching.

The young girl looked at him from top to bottom and sighed, shaking her head.

"I'm not obliged to answer to you, right? We are in a party and can say what we want. I was just saying mine", she smiled innocently and left the circle for another corner.

The handsome guy's eyes followed her and stopped at the spot where she stood. A strange smile appeared on his face.
