Callum : The Harbinger of death

Callum since birth felt he was missing something. He would often ask his father what is missing within him. His father would change the topic and just say " it is not time for you to know". But there were many things his father didn't know despite being the most powerful person in entire world. There were shadows that were always followings him. There were things that he was scared to see and one of them was death. He could see the death coming whenever he was too close to the person. He could feel it as if someone was breathing cold air in his ears whispering the way he is gonna die. When I thought, would dying be better option for me. As death was the closest thing in his life, he wanted to embrace it once and for all and call it quit. Just than I found her. Her name was Chloe and she was adopted in the family next door. She was his only sunshine in his life, his only warmth. Chloe ( age 7 ) : Callum why have you closed your eyes, open them. Callum shaking his head : no, I don't want to they are everywhere they are whispering around me. Chloe holding his hands : let's count to five and they will all disappear. Callum counted as asked : 1..2..3..4..5 Chloe : open your eyes Callum did that, they were still there but he was only watching the smile of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
