Spider Garn's wound has been exposed!

It has been fifteen minutes and somehow, Illusory Swan still hasn't found the spider in his room. Thus, the team still have to struggle with five people in a six-man dungeon. It shouldn't have been hard, but because the game is new and the whole system is new, it took some time for people to get used to it.

Fortunately, Li Shenyang took some time to experiment with the battle system so even if he had to solo the boss, he could still manage, as long as none of the small spiders can get to him. Only, his damage is so low that even though after fifteen minutes, he only managed to chip 40% of the boss's health.

Li Shenyang manoeuvred his character to side-step an attack by the spider boss before he reached forward for a stab with his sword. Then, he proceeded with mixing in some combo and on his last hit, he delayed his timing just slightly, triggering the dizzy state. Unlike the boar, the spider recovered quickly from the dizzy state and the time-frame that Li Shenyang can take advantage is very short.

In that short time-frame, Li Shenyang mixed a few quick combos with two of the only skill available, 'slash', in between. After that combo, he quickly stepped back and waited for another opening.

It was at that time that he noticed that every time the spider move, blood spilt out of its wound more than the past minutes. He glanced up at the spider's health and saw that the spider had suffered from another state, bleeding state.

'Oh, maybe I can make use of this… if there is damage from environmental change, can we deal more damage on the exposed wound?' Li Shenyang thought. The boar near the beginner village was too weak that sometimes it would die in his mid-combo. So Li Shenyang had never found out about the wound exposure in the battle system.

Li Shenyang circled around the spider and began to focus his attack on the spider's exposed wound. He saw that each of his hits deals 15% more damage than usual, and Li Shenyang confirmed his suspicion. With a smile, Li Shenyang continued his relentless attack on the boss.

Because of his speed bonus, his attack speed, cooldown reduction and movement speed have all increased. Though his damage is low, he managed to take advantage of his speed to make up for it. Especially now that the spider's wound was exposed, all of Li Shenyang's hit dealt the same damage as people who focused on increasing their strength. Soon, the spider's health dropped to 30%.

The system warning came just as Spider Garn let out another loud shriek. But this time, Li Shenyang could feel that he himself was affected by the sound that came from his headphone. "Fuck! Isn't this game a bit too realistic with their sound effect?" Li Shenyang cursed. "I thought my ears were going to burst!"

"Yang Shen, the sound effect is good but aren't you a bit exaggerating when you say your ears were going to burst?" Lightning Lynx commented with a slight chuckle on his side.

"But that shriek is loud though. But this is the normal volume that I play with… say, I wonder if the sound is affected by how far we are from the source?" Bai Lang asked. "Yang Shen, how loud was the sound?"

"Very loud, and sharp," Li Shenyang replied as he continued to fight the boss. "Just imagine someone blowing a whistle right next to your ears," he added.

"Found you!!" they heard Illusory Swan's voice suddenly and it was followed by several loud slamming sounds. "Now you're dead, hahaha!"

After that, there was some weird sound, akin to someone rearranging the table and the mic. Then they heard Illusory Swan's sigh.

"I'm back! I'm back! I'm sorry guys!!" he said through the mic. "Captain, I'm going to use item revive. You can go back to Yang Shen and help him with the boss," he added and not long after, his character revived with full health. Not only that, his character also received a small buff that came along with the revival item.

Seeing that Illusory Swan has returned, Qinglong immediately returned to Li Shenyang's side to help him with the boss. Li Shenyang also saw him coming and he quickly informed the other.

"The spider's left side, there is a part with an exposed wound! Attack him there," Li Shenyang said out loud.

"What the fuck?! Is that Yang Shen's voice?! Is that his voice!? His voice is so dreamy, ah!" Illusory Swan who was busy with a real-life spider before only heard Li Shenyang's voice for the first time. Just like the others, he was surprised by Li Shenyang's voice.

"You guys are over-reacting. My voice is normal," now that Li Shenyang has another support, he could finally relax a bit and have some time to reply to the others.

Li Shenyang moved his character, this time he only wanted to distract the boss while giving Qinglong chance to take advantage of the exposed wound easily. "Can you see the wound?" Li Shenyang asked.

"Saw it! Going in now," Qinglong replied before he jumped into the fight and swung his weapon towards the wound. It was only one strike, and 4% of the boss's health disappeared. This damage made Li Shenyang who had to deal 5 to 6 hits to reduce 3% of the boss's health speechless.

'Dragon bloodline have high attack and high defence… but isn't this too much?' Li Shenyang thought as he continued to lead the boss's attention while Qinglong continued to strike the boss where it hurts the most. Soon, the boss's health was reduced to 10% and another warning from the system came.

But the warning was short-lived because Qinglong used that time to unleash his skill right on the exposed wound, taking away the rest of the boss's health.

The system announcement was announced three times and the world chat exploded. It was to the point that Li Shenyang had to turn the world chat off.

"Hehehe, the team that Tremblelight sent had snatched the first kill for Jingshen, but we got the kill from Garn! The six-man team agreed before they walked deeper into the cave. After the spider boss, Li Shenyang and the rest received a handsome reward from the system. Because of his merit, the blue weapon that dropped from the boss were unanimously given to him. He also liked the stats that the weapon has. Of course, since it is only a blue weapon, it can't be compared to a purple weapon or even orange equipment. Don't even talk about divine weapon which can only be obtained through crafting. For players like Li Shenyang, he can only dream of having one.
