16 Chapter 16

"I_I love you!" He said and she looked at him in shock. She wanted to go and wrap her arms around him but controlled herself, thinking about all the pains he caused her. With a lot of courage, she raised her hand and slapped him hard. "How in Earth can you think I'll accept you after all the things you'hv done to me? Sorry, it's a no!" She said, pushed him away and ran away from there wiping her tears.

Rohan was broken-hearted. He wiped the tears that fell from his eyes and headed home. He went home and sat on his bed feeling the pain from Ruhi's rejection. Ruhi went home and lied on the bed crying. She didn't want to decline his proposal but she couldn't forget the pain he gave her.

The next day, he went to the officr and was only lost in thinking Ruhi and their separation. He hope that one day she may come back telling him she loves him and never wanted this separation. He cursed himself for causing her pain and heart breaks, if not, she would be with him now.

He remembered their good moments together and the way she smiled at him. Every nights, he would sit by the window staring at Ruhi's favorite place in the garden, imaging someday she will come back. He felt his world tore apart without her by his side.

Rakhi saw the way both Ruhi and Rohan were depressed and broken. When she asked Rohan, he told her about Ruhi and went into deep thoughts.

He started sending and picking up Rakhi to the office only to get a glance of Ruhi. He would always smile at her but she just give him a glare and go away, making him sad.

Rakhi tried her best to convince Ruhi about Rohan's changed of behavior but in vain. Ruhi was stubborn, wouldn't listen and cried thinking about her past.

Rohan angrily drove to a place and raced up the stairs. He stood infront of the Gods' idols, stared at in angrily and said.. "Are you happy? You bought me here after all. You snatched my parents away and now... my Ruhi also." He fell on his knees with few tears falling from his eyes. "Please.., please give me back my Ruhi. Please...." He begged.

"Rohan?" Came a voice calling and he turned his back and got a shock of his life...
