12 Chapter 12

It was Rohan who saw them and was fuming in anger. He wanted to go there and beat the hell out of him. Ruhi was his only love and no one else. He was going towards them but a hand stopped him. "No Bhai, don't go." Said a girl, it was Rakhi who's seeing them with a sad eyes. "But.." He was interrupted by Rakhi. "Come Bhai, you brought me here for a special dinner and I want that." She said changing the topic and dragging him out of there.

'When Ruhi left Rohan that night, he was very angry. He went in search for her but couldn't find her. Instead when he went forward, he saw a girl who was lost and walking in the streets aimlessly. He walk towards her "Hey, why're you lost?" He asked softly. "You can't help me." She whispered with tears. "Tell, you'll feel better." He said smilingly. "I have no family. My family disowned me because they think that I got r-raped, it'll harm their respect in society!" She yelled crying.

Rohan felt really bad for her and held her making her stand properly. "Nothing like that will happen. Come with me, I'll take you to my home and these people will never be able to harm you again." He said smilingly. She nodded as she didn't have anywhere to go. "What's your name?" He asked while taking her to the house. "Rakhi." She.said quietly. "I'm Rohan, and now your family." He said smiling.

Rohan treated her like his small sister and gave her all the love she needed. Somewhere in his heart, he imagined Ruhi in her, her childishness and her love. When he arrived home, he always saw her waiting for him. "Bhai!" She said unexpectedly. "Bhai?" He asked confusingly. "Your like my brother and reminded me of him. Even He tried to help me but couldn't." She said with a little tears in her eyes. "Shh! Look Rakhi, those people are fools! I'm sure your brother will still do somethings to get you back to him, till then this's your home. Snd yeah, you can call me whatever you want." He said and she smiled hugging him.

After a few days, Rakhi always noticedRohan depressed or drinking a lot while starring at a girl picture in his phone. She couldn't see him in a devastated state and decided to talk to him. "Bhai, what happened to you? Why're you always sad? She asked. "it's nothing." He said shoving the phone into his pocket. "There's something, tell me now." She said being stubborn and he sighed telling her everythings. "Oh!" Came out of her mouth. "It's okay, I know she'll realized her love and return to you soon. Bhai, can I ask.something?" She said hesitantly. "Yeah." He said. "Can I study further?" She asked. "Of course! I'll go tomorrow and talk to the principal of one of the college. He's my close friend and will surely take you in, happy?" He asked and she squealed and hugged him.

Three years had passed like this. Everyday, every minutes and every seconds, he remembered Ruhi but always stayed happy with Rakhi imagining her as Ruhi. Both were very happy.

"Bhai." Called out Rakhi. "What?" He answered coldly. "I know you're angry on Dhruv but, even I didn't know how he acted this way. Please don't be angry with him." She begged him. He turned and saw her innocent eyes and instantly melted but how could he tell her that he wasn't angry with Dhruv but also Ruhi as she moved on quickly. He cupped her face. "Okay, only for you. The next time I see him, I'll beat him up." He said and she nodded, giggling slightly.
