Meeting Casey again

★★★

"I..I..." Bella's voice stammered and she let out her nervousness. How will she tell him she can't dance? She looked down and gave herself a conclusion that no one knew who she was. Who cares if she dances poorly?

"Guide me," Bella mouthed when felt his hand tighten on her waist. She placed her hand over his shoulder when the man swung her suddenly and singled out her from the crowd.

Bella questioned him with her eyes while keeping the words in and saw everyone dancing with their partners. But she could not see others, especially her friends and Noah, because of this man's large figure.

"It's too crowded," replied the man, as if he knew how to read Bella's eyes.

"Hmm," Bella hummed and rolled her body as the man guided her. Her contribution was nearly invisible, though. Every move she was disclosing was directed by the man. He was charming with the mask on. The smell was also familiar, but she didn't know why she wanted to talk to him. However, the man seldom opened his mouth, which made her bleak.

"Are you wearing contact lenses? How did you customize your horn? It looks so real as if it came out of your skin," Bella asked with a curious look. She was genuinely interested to know about this.

Yes, they are real," replied the man, looking down at the woman in his arms, and pulling her closer, he twirled her once. His calm eyes were fixed. It was difficult for Bella to understand. How can a man joke with a straight face?

"Yeah, they look real," said Bella, nodding but asking no further because she understood the man didn't want to be revealed.

"Don't dance with others," said the man solemnly. Bella blinked in confusion. Has she heard right?

"Excuse me," Bella said when her a tuft of hair came open from her ponytail and she reached out her hand to tuck them behind her ear. However, a hand was faster than hers.

When one of his hands rested on her waist, while the other reached for her tufts and gently tucked them behind the ear.

Bella's body turned rigid with fear. Now an unknown danger knocked her heart. Her thoughts rumbled to guess if this guy knew her.

"What do you mean? Do you know me?" Bella spoke with an alert face that was hidden behind the mask.

"I don't like it. Although you are free to do anything, it angered me," the man spoke when Bella pushed him a little and retreated.

Her unbelieving eyes lit up with indignation, while her mouth said, "You're crazy."

Isabella did not look for her friend and came straight out of the area. Now her mind was occupied with the safety of the college girls. The kidnapper may be hiding in a mask just like she met a creepy man.

She walked into the empty corridor on the second floor and leaned against the railing and looked down at the busy students. She also tried to look for the person, but it was difficult to notice it in the sea of people.

She loosened her mask and held it in her hand. A cool breeze blew around her while she held out her phone to call her friends.

Meanwhile, her eyes noticed someone far in the same corridor under the low light of the classroom. She turned her posture toward it, making her eyes shrink a little for a good look, but difficult to catch sight of the person's face. Although the figure was a woman, she could tell.

"Hello! Do you need help?" Isabella shouted, walking ahead with slow steps.

"Hey, are you okay?" Bella asked again, her voice echoed in the empty corridor, but the figure was motionless, which made Bella stop. She didn't dare to go further.

"Tell me if there is any problem. Okay, just hang on, I'll be back with someone in a minute," Bella asked and waited for her response. Then, without wasting a second, she turned to the stairs to go down to look for someone.

"Help me, Bella," a voice called from behind, making Bella jump in fear. She turned her head with wide eyes. A chill ran down her spine, not because of the request but because the voice was someone whom she was digging for.

"Casey," Bella murmured, but she didn't see anyone there because the figure had vanished from the spot

"Casey, come out," Isabella shouted. Her anger flared up right instant to the level where she couldn't stand and went on to that niche.

"Where are you, coward? Come out," shouted Bella. Her heel clicked on the floor, and a harsh voice echoed in the empty corridor. In a fit of rage, she tore off her mask. She didn't forget the laughter of those men. She didn't know if it was real or a dream, but they were about to be burned alive by her absurd plan and she flew off underground.

"Who wants to hide? I am here to meet you," the deep sound of Casey's rang behind her and she jumped back again. Bella's brows were drawn together as her mouth opened in confusion. She didn't understand how Casey came behind her while she thought she hide somewhere.

"How did you get there?" Isabella asked and added another one, "Why didn't you answer earlier?"

"No, no," Casey shook her finger in disagreeing with a playful smirk before resuming, "Your question should be, where have I been these days?"
