Sunny

I was still going over what the voice said when a dice dropped on my head.

“All players have finished their turns. Now that you know how to play… let us…shake things up a bit.” I wonder what that meant.

The dice were hard and plastic. It hurt when they feel on my head. They were the same ones I had rolled when I was back at home. Clear and red with white dots. I guess I would just roll them. Then get out of this room.

I watched the dice decide my fate. How would I even move in this place? Eh, I would figure it out once these dice stopped spinning. I got a four and two…that would be six. I exited the room out the side door. I probably could've gone into the study but I wanted to explore the place so I decided against it. Should I have played it safe? Now that I thought about it…probably but what’s done is done!

After walking out I was led to what reminded me of a preview screen. Sort of anyway. It was more like a void. Half this place was dark while the other was showing me somewhere else and I was just floating in this place. I could move around. It was like there was no gravity. I liked it.

I could see everywhere. The floor had white tiles on it. I sort of expected carpet. The walls were red with black indents made into it. I liked the way the house looked. But was I just here to look, what was I meant to be doing?

The words were right in front of me. In massive white writing. How did I miss it? I had no clue. Maybe this place was messing with me again. I also noticed a grammar mistake. They said

“Where do you want to go.”

Was this place dumb? There was meant to be a question mark. This was stuff you learn in primary school. I don’t even get good grades and I knew that. This was sort of making me feel good about myself considering I just killed someone. There were no instructions so I sort of swam to where I wanted to go then moved forward to where it showed the room. That seemed to work.

I landed on a tile. I tried to take a step inside of it but was stopped. So I moved my leg up and onto the next tile. That seemed to work. So I moved from tile to tile until I got to the closest door. I hadn't remembered that being there. I went in anyway. But as soon as I opened it I was stunned…
