7 Chapter 007 The Lion Emperor

Bambi sat in the lobby, thinking. Holding the money in her hand and reflecting. She wanted to repay Jalyn, but since she couldn't tip her. Maybe a gift? Bambi didn't know what Jalyn liked, also Jalyn was older than her.

Buzz..buzz...buzz.. The cell phone vibrated on the side table. Bambi picked it up, her avatar needed to power up. She log in to C0DE, powered her avatar. By using power coins, this would allow her avatar to keep wondering in the game (in mission mode) collecting treasures.

Bambi was about to log out, she stop. She remembered that Jalyn also played C0DE. Being a top player, she had more than enough power coins. This would be a good gift, but wouldn't it be the same thing? Basically its an electronic tip. Bambi was raised to believe that if your grateful you should show it. If you give a gift it shouldn't come from your leftovers. Your gift small or big should be from your very best. Bambi looked a her millions of power coins. She decided not to gift them but instead.....

Walking to the clothing boutique. Bambi was welcome by a young man. Tall, handsome and tan. He had this light English/British accent. "What may I assist you with today?" His light blue dress shirt and dress pants where well pressed. Next to his tie was a name tag "Sammy" was written in gold letters. Bambi wanted to sound confident "I need a swimsuit for a vacation that am leaving for tomorrow." Bambi smile. Sammy nodded "Right this way!" following him, she noticed his shiney brown shoes he had no socks. Was that the fashion now... evey country have their styles. Bambi didnt follow fashion trends like Kandy. She felt as long as her clothes were clean and fit well, that was good enough for her. Sammy pulled open the door of a dresser. He had 15 swimsuit on hangers shape like a woman's figure. The hangers has more curves than Bambi, this made her feel even more flat. How in the world is this even possible!

Looking at a swimsuit that look cute and modest. The best part of it is that it came with a wrap around the waist. A one piece with a open back in emerald green and gold. Sammy took out a tablet "Would you like this one.... in a size....small?" Bambi nodded. Sammy tap on his tablet. Seeing what the young lady had pick, Sammy notice that the other 14 swim- suits where too revealing. A red two piece might be too daring for the young miss. There was a one piece in white with a plunging neckline that went all the way down. Seeing that he miscalculated the young ladies taste. He felt he wasn't providing his very best.

Sammy had a few swimsuits from last year. He excuse himself " I see you like this particular style, I have some more in the back. I will go and get them for you." He put his tablet down. "Thank you." Bambi said softly. "Of course no problem young Miss."

Sammy was in the stock room. Bambi sat down, taking a look around. The room was a deep gray with a white outline. Victorian decor and furniture in flat white. It had the feel as if it was a room in the 1800's in England. Bambi laughed, no wonder Sammy made a good fit. Looking how most of the items where in dressers or in drawers. Some tables had only a few things on display like sunglasses, hats and shoes. Since most of the clothing was hanging in the dressers, it made the Boutique neat and clean. Hot tea, finger sandwiches and biscuits where served before Sammy headed to the back room. The tea set was very delicate made of white porcelain, outline with gold. The biscuits smell buttery. Her stomach started to speak to her. She look down. That's right she had only fruit for breakfast, no surprised why she was so hungry. Skipping lunch, now past noon. Bambi remember how her Lola (grandma) said that shy people would starve themselves to death. Because they couldn't ask for a glass of water. She took a deep breath, serve herself tea and dig in!

Feeling much better, Bambi saw a sun hat in navy with a matching bag. This would go well when she is out in Cebu. Sammy carry three swimsuits, holding them out. The first one look like a super mini dress in a deep purple color. For some reason this felt like if Kandy pick it. Next! Looking at the second swimsuit in a jewel turquoise with a sweetheart cut and of course a wrap. " I will take this one!" Sammy put the swimsuit on the counter, he then holds the third swimsuit out. Bambi looked at it "Umm... its a dress?" looking unsure. Sammy spoke up "Yes Miss, its a dress (lifting on the side) that has a swim- suit underneath." Taking another look, the swimsuit/dress has a 50s vibe. Black with small white poka dots. Thinking of the navy sun hat and bag, this would make a complete outfit. " This one too, please." Bambi felt accomplished since shopping wasn't her thing, she manage to get something she liked. Sammy then asked "All set Miss? Can I get you anything else Miss?" Bambi showed Sammy the sun hat and bag. He took out a large gift bag, lined it with tissue paper. Place the sun hat and bag.

Bambi pulled out the rose gold envelope and place it on the counter. Sammy smile, he opened it and scan the barcode. "Miss this give you a complimentary sunglasses set." Sammy informed Bambi. Picking a simple set she then gave them to him to wrap.

Buzzz... buzzz...buzzz... looking at her cell phone. A notification message from C0DE. Bambi open it, the message was an invitation. From the mysterious and most powerful player from C0ED, The Lion Emperor!
