When I'm in Seraphim

The village gate was a tall, thick wall. In the center of the wall, two giant door slats opened wide. 

The situation there was that of being worried about being attacked. Hence, many guards were posted to monitor people's mobility.

The guards wore armor. Spears taller than them were in hand. On the left chest was a badge shaped like a yellow seven-petalled flower. The yellow color was almost equivalent to the sun.

Two guards stood side by side to check people out. The other two check people came in. Another twenty guards were atop the gate.

Elestria glanced at the extremely high wall. She pulled her hood over her face, then joined the line of people entering. Her face was downcast.

Her turn had almost come. She was already preparing to walk quickly after passing the guard. When it was her turn, she saw the person who came out handing the guard a letter.
