Elestria and Gideon exchanged glances. They were happy but also confused. 

Gideon had already recognized the little girl. He had not expected to meet her again on the mountain.

Gideon held back his legs that were about to move. Dev would not be patient with standing still. Gideon didn't want to let Dev go and scare her.
